教学重难点 能够了解基本的交通规则,即红、黄、绿灯的功能,并能根据英文指令做动作。 能够理解和掌握本课重点词汇和句型。 理解动词stop和wait的含义。 能够在情景中恰当运用句子“Slow down and stop at a yellow light. Stop and wait at a red light. Go at a green light.”表达交通指示灯的作用。
教学准备 课件、相关音频视频和实物教具(单词卡片物品等)。
教学过程 Step 1: Warm-up & Revision & Lead-in 1. Greetings. 2. Let’s sing and do. Play the song—Rabbit Dance. (出示课件) Let students stand in a line and do the actions with the music. “Left—left—right—right—go—turn around—go—go—go!” 3.Lead-in. (1)Review the traffic rules. Show the pictures. (课件出示:上节课学过的交通标志图片) Let students look and say. (2)Lead-in. T: (课件出示:交通信号灯图片) What are these Ss:Traffic lights. T:Yeah. They are traffic lights. What colour are they Ss:Red, yellow and green. T:Yes! Do you know what the lights mean You can speak in Chinese. Ss:红灯停,绿灯行…… Step 2 Presentation 课件呈现P17Let’s learn板块的图片,教师介绍对话背景。 T: Mrs Smith and the children are at the crossing now. T: Where are they going Ss: Nature Park. Watch and answer. 学生观看视频,并回答问题。 T: Can they go now Why or why not Ss: No, they can’t. Because the light is red now. Listen and repeat. 课件呈现P17Let’s learn板块的对话,教师播放音频,学生跟读。 Words and expressions. 教师引导学生理解关于交通规则的句子。 T: What must we do when it is a red light T: And what must we do when it is a yellow/green light 教师带读关于交通规则的句子,学生跟读。 Stop and wait at a red light. Slow down and stop at a yellow light. Go at a green light. Step 3 Practice 1. What’s next 教师按次序出示一组单词卡片,学生快速认读。然后再让学生依次认读这组单词卡片,所有单词读过一遍后,教师再某处停住,提问What’s next 学生根据记忆说出下一个单词。 2. Role-play (1)四人一组,其中一人扮演盲人,其他一人或两人做带路者,一人或两人演示红绿灯。 (2)发挥想象,创编对话。 参考句型:A: Excuse me. How can I get to... B: Go straight/Turn left/... Let me help you. It’s ...light. Slow down and wait/Stop and wait/Go... A: Thank you. (3)小组表演对话。 Step4:Make a summary. Lead students to make a summary of this class. “Make a traffic signs board” Let students work in groups to make a signs board. Let students show the boards to the class.

1. 背诵Let's learn部分的交通规则。 2. 完成本课时对应的练习。
四、教学反思
本课时的重点是学习基本的交通标志与交通规则,通过多种活动帮助学生将这个话题与他们的日常生活紧密联系起来。最后还通过创设真实的情境,让学生分别扮演警察和行人。在这个过程中,学生不仅要学会去听英语指令并做动作,还要学会说出对应的英文提示,培养了学生的语言综合运用能力。
