Analysis of material The main content This unit focuses on transportations. It mainly talks about the way of going to school and the characteristics of vehicles. The purpose of this unit By understanding and analyzing the dialogue, students will know some transportations and they will be able to choose the way of going to school by considering the characteristics of vehicle.
Analysis of students Student status Merits: The students are active and curious. They have mastered some simple words and expressions to learn this lesson. They have knowledge of transportations. Shortcomings: They might lack the mastery of the words of transportations and do not understand the characteristics of transportations. Solutions: Teacher gives the students some pictures of the vehicles and teach the new words. Teacher gives students some time to freely discuss the characteristics of vehicles.

Reflection According to the teaching design, the teaching of listening will be done in a flexible way. This unit focuses on transportations. Most of the students can involve in the class, but some of them still dare not to speak. The teacher should encourage students to speak more.
