Analysis of material The main content This unit focuses on transportations. It mainly talks about the way of going to school and the characteristics of vehicles. The purpose of this unit By understanding and analyzing the dialogue, students will know some transportations and they will be able to choose the way of going to school by considering the characteristics of vehicle.
Analysis of students Student status Merits: The students are active and curious. They have mastered some simple words and expressions to learn this lesson. They have knowledge of transportations. Shortcomings: They might lack the mastery of the words of transportations and do not understand the characteristics of transportations. Solutions: Teacher gives the students some pictures of the vehicles and teach the new words. Teacher gives students some time to freely discuss the characteristics of vehicles.
Teaching objectives By the end of the class, students will be able to 1. Know various vehicles to go to school. (Understanding) 2. Analyze the characteristics of vehicles. (Analyzing) 3. Retell the dialogue work in group by using the sentence patterns learned in this lesson. (Applying) 4. Express their ideas about a travel plane for their National Day holiday.
