Pre-writing 3a 1. Let some Ss read the words in the box. 3. Ss read the movie review and try to fill in the blanks with the words in the box. 4. Check the answers. Ⅲ. While-writing Work on 3b: 1. Write notes for movie review in the following way： The name of the movie The kind of movie What the movie is about What you think of the movie/stars 2. Give students a sample. Ⅳ. While-writing Tell Ss to write a movie review like the sample on the blackboard. Use their notes in 3b. V. Post-writing Pair-work: Work on 4 Write description words of the TV shows. And then check the answer. Work on Self check 1.Write questions and answers using the words in brackets. 2. Check the answers with the Ss. 3. Ss identify true or false and give the reasons. VI. Summary come from, play sb's role, do a good job, fight in the army, take the place of sb, dress up in, a symbol of, a pair of ear. VII. Homework Finish the movie review.
