Presentation 1a 1.Point to the eight words: educational, serious, wonderful, relaxing, meaningless, enjoyable, exciting, boring. 2. Read the words and let Ss read after the teacher. 3. Let Ss match each word with a picture. Then check the answers with the students. 4.Let Ss make the conversations by using the words of 1a and the sentences on the blackboard. Ⅱ. Pre-listening 1b 1. Listen and circle the description words in the box in 1a. 3. Let some Ss read out their words to the class. III. While-listening 1c 1. T: Now let's work on 1c. listen again,write down the words John and Mary use to describe the TV shows or movies. 2. Play the recording for the first time. Ss only listen. 3. Then play the recording for the second time. Ss listen and write the words. 4. Then play the recording for the third time for the Ss to check the answers. Ⅳ. Post-listening 1d 1.
