Lesson 2 Function and Pronunciation
I. Material analysis
Function内容解读：本部分为“听”的活动，通过听力的形式将学生带入中国传统节日清明节的情境中。学生先两两谈论与清明节相关的三幅图，引入话题，然后听录音，了解璐璐正在为节日做的准备工作；接着通过听力活动完成清明节相关信息的表格填写，整体了解清明节这个节日。最后，学生两两对话，谈论此节日，发展语用能力。
Pronunciation内容解读：本部分为语音知识的学习，学习字母组合ow，oy，ear，ure，tr，dr，sh，ch和字母s，g的读音规则并用这些规则准确辩音，做到见词能读。同时学习句子中的连读。从听、跟读音标、单词过渡到大声朗读句子，注意句子的连读。
II. Teaching aims
1. 根据字母组合ow，oy，ear，ure，tr，dr，sh,ch及字母s，g的拼读规则，拼读单词，做到见词能读，听音能写。
2. 正确运用连读朗读句子。
3. 获取清明节的时间和典型活动的信息并谈论清明节。
4. 品味清明节的文化内涵。
III. Teaching procedures
课时教学内容概述
本课是听力和语音课。 Function以“听”的活动为主，为理解性技能。学生通过听对话，理解对话内容和意义，了解和掌握中国传统节日清明节和节日期间人们的活动。在Activity 1中，学生观察3幅有关清明节的图片并展开讨论，了解清明节的天气和人们的活动。在Activity 2中，学生听后回答问题，了解璐璐为清明节做的准备活动。在Activity 3中，学生再听音频，记录清明节的时间及人们所开展的活动，完成填空。Activity 4为学生两两活动，学生将音频中掌握的有关清明节的信息与自己已知信息结合，进行讨论和分享，此为迁移创新类活动。 Pronunciation部分为本单元的语音学习。在Activity 1中，学生通过听力文本，学习彩色部分的发音。学生在Activity 2中听录音，学习字母s, g及字母组合ow, oy, ear, ure, tr, dr, sh, ch的发音规则。在Activity 3中，学生根据拼读规则，朗读单词，然后勾选所听单词。在Activity 4中，学生听录音，跟读句子，继续学习连读。

Step 1 Lead-in 1. Show students the learning objectives of this class. 2. Look at the picture in Activity 1. Answer the following questions： ·What season is it in the picture ·Is there a festival in this season 观察学生的表达，了解其对节日名称的储备情况。

Step 2 Viewing & Reading 1. Look at the pictures in Activity 1 and identify the festival based on activities in the pictures. 2. Check the answers. 观察学生描述图片中活动的情况，了解其对清明节典型活动的认知。
设计意图：通过谈论图片中的活动，激活学生对清明节典型活动的已有知识，为谈论清明节做好铺垫。
Step 3 Watching & Reading 1. Listen and answer the question in Activity What is Lulu doing 2. Check the answers. 3. Listen and complete the chart in Activity 3. 4. Check the answers. 5. Read the conversation in Activity 3. 6. Retell according to the chart. 7. Pair work. Role play the conversation in Activity 3. And then talk about Tomb-sweeping Day with the partner. 根据学生听后回答问题的表现，评价其听力能力。 观察学生填空的情况，判断其是否能在语境中获取节日时间和典型活动的相关信息。 观察学生在复述展示中的表现，根据需要给予必要的指导和反馈。
设计意图：通过在听力活动中、回答问题和完成表格，帮助学生从时间和典型活动等方面谈论清明节；通过复述及角色扮演促其内化所学，为后续的学生两两活动做好准备。
Step 4 Pair Work Work in pairs. Talk about Tomb-sweeping Day with the partner. 2. Introduce what the students and their families usually do on Tomb-sweeping Day to the class. 观察学生表现，根据需要给予必要指导和反馈。
设计意图：引导学生通过两两合作，联系生活实际，谈论清明节；帮助学生正确使用目标语言，学以致用，迁移创新。
Step 5 Pronunciation 1. Read the text in Activity 1 individually. 2. Listen and repeat, paying attention to the pronunciation of the colored letters. 3. Read again with the rhythm. 4. Read the sounds and words in Activity 2 aloud individually. 5. Listen and repeat the sounds and words aloud. 6. List more words of the same sound. 7. Read the words aloud in Activity 3. 8. Listen, tick and repeat. 9. Check the answers. 10. Read the sentences in Activity 4 individually. 11. Listen and repeat the sentences aloud. Pay attention to the liaisons. 12. Read more sentences to practice the liaisons. 根据学生发音、朗读、勾选、运用连读的情况，判断学生的语音语调是否正确以及是否能根据读音勾选单词。
设计意图：通过听读、勾选等活动，引导学生复习并掌握字母组合ow，oy，ear，ure，tr，dr，sh，ch及字母s, g在单词中的读音，做到见词发音，并能正确运用连读朗读句子；帮助学生了解语音在语言学习中的意义。
Step 6 Summary & Homework 1. Summarize the content students learned in this class. 2. Show the students the homework for the class. 帮助并引导学生总结本节课所学内容，查漏补缺，发现问题，及时给予帮助。
设计意图：运用所学知识，进行总结，内化语言。
