教学重点: 1. 简单的问候语及其答语。
2. 询问对方姓名和爱好的句型及其答语。 3. 制作个人姓名卡,并做自我介绍。
教学难点: 1. 表达爱好的用语:like/love/enjoy (doing) sth.
2. 根据制作的个人姓名卡做自我介绍。
教学过程
Step 1 Lead-in (Create a situation) It’s Daming’s first day in the junior high school. His classmates greet him in English in the first English class. (Lead in the five characters on P3.) How should he respond Learn the lesson and help him. Step 2 Viewing & Pre-listening 1. Match the responses (a-e) to the greetings in the picture at the top of Page 3. Then learn the usage of “ How do you do ” “Nice to meet you.” and “How are you ”. 2. The teacher shows the greetings again one by one and students answer together to consolidate. 3. Watch a video to know more greetings in different languages. Then learn some different greeting ways in different countries. 4. Say hello to the partner in different ways. 5. Learn the rules of writing Chinese names in English. 6. Read the sentences in B and fill in the blanks with the names in the picture at the top of Page 3. Pay attention to the sentence patterns of expressing one’s own name and likes: I am/I’m ... My name is ... I like/love/enjoy (doing) sth. Then the teacher shows the sentences of asking one’s name and likes: What’s your name, please What do you like Help Daming answer correctly and make a simple self-introduction: My name is Chen Daming. I like swimming. Step 3 Listening & Speaking 1. Listen and repeat the conversation in C. 2. Work in pairs. Replace the parts in bold and practice with the partner. After that, make a self-assessment of the performance in this activity. 3. Daming’s class wants to make name cards and stick them on the wall of class culture to know more about each other. First, read the name card in Activity 2. Next, listen and circle the correct information on the name card. Third, practice and role play the conversation. After the activity, make a self-assessment. Step 4 Post-listening 1. Make a name card individually, and then make a self-introduction to the partner according to the information on the name card. Then make a self-assessment. 2. Help Daming make his name card and introduce himself.
