While-reading Work on 3b: 1. Think about a party or any other event you know. Write an invitation to your friends to come to your party or event. 2. Let some Ss read the information in the chart. Include the following information kind of party or event when and where it will be if guests should bring anything if guests should reply to the invitation when and how guests should reply Use the following words and phrases: would like to, will be, after this, please, reply. Give the structure of the invitation, give the example. 3. Ss try to think about their parities or events. Write an invitation using the information in the chart. 4.
