Present the usage of the modal verbs.(can,have to,must…) 情态动词Can用法： 表示能力，意为“能；会”，此时可与be able to互换。 表示请求，允许，意为“可以” 表示推测，意为“可能；可能会”，常用于否定句或疑问句中。 IV．Practice Work on 3a Task 1 Pay attention to the phrases in the box. Task 2 Translate them into Chinese Task 3Complete the sentences. Task 4 Divide the class into groups of four or five students. Ask them to make their own conversations. Work on 3b 指导： 1. 根据要求可知，需要我们写出一句邀请的话和接受邀请或拒绝的问答句，如果是拒绝邀请应给出理由。 2. 按提示词，用Can you… 或Would you like … 加上所做事项来询问。如果是拒绝邀请，可以想一个适当理由来说明。 Work on 3c Write down one thing you have to do next week.
