Unit 1 Where did you go on vacation
这个单元是关于假期旅游，通常三段式。
开头段： 三两句话介绍度假背景(天气、地点、和谁去等) Where+When+Who:
1. I went to... with my ...in July/ on July 1st.
2. On a sunny and sweltering day in July, my friends and I arrived in Linhai, a city known for its rich history and culture.
中间段：按时间或地点顺序介绍度假内容。What did:
I was really excited because it was my first time here.
Beijing is famous for many places of interest.
Linhai is a city with lots of old and interesting things to see.
We drove to...first. The second day, we visited...On the thrid day, we headed

结尾段：总结度假和自己的感受。How feel:
I hope I can visit it again one day.
It was a wonderful trip, and no one felt bored.
We had a great time in Linhai and I will never forget this exciting trip.
My friends and I will always remember this fun day. It was a day full of adventures and good times.
① I went to Beijing on vacation with my family in July and I had a great time. When I got there, it was sunny and hot. I was really excited because it was the first time for me to visit the capital of China.
Beijing is famous for many places of interest. As an old saying says, "He who has never been to the Great Wall is not a true man." So we drove to the Great Wall first. I walked up to the top, and everything was small below. We were tired but proud for our trying. The next day, we visited the Palace Museum. I learned something important about Chinese culture and history. I also took quite a few photos so that I could remember what I saw and learnt in the palace after I came back home. On the third day, we headed to Beihai Park and I bought something special for my grandparents and friends.
It was a wonderful trip, and no one felt bored. I am so proud of our country. I decide to study hard and learn more about Chinese history. I hope I can visit it again one day.
② On a sunny and sweltering day in July, my friends and I arrived in Linhai, a city known for its rich history and culture. It was a very hot day, but we were super excited to be there without our parents. The sun was shining brightly, and we couldn't wait to see what Linhai was able to offer.
Linhai is a city with lots of old and interesting things to see. There's a big wall called the Taizhou City Wall, which is like a mini Great Wall of China. Many people like to climb it to see the beautiful views. Near Taizhou City Wall there is a pretty park called East Lake Park. It has bridges made of stone and trees with long leaves that touch the water. It's a nice place to walk around and take pictures.
In Linhai one of the landmarks is an old street called Ziyang Street that has buildings from a long, long time ago. It's really cool to walk there and imagine what life was like back then. Besides, you can try lots of yummy Taizhou snacks!
We had a great time in Linhai. We took lots of photos and ate lots of tasty food. My friends and I will always remember this fun day. It was a day full of adventures and good times.
