课标、教参关于本课中的要求及建议 要求: 1.掌握常见农场动物和物品的名称及基本特征的英语表述。 2.能够运用简单句型进行有关农场动物和物品的对话和短文描写。 建议: 1.重点运用以下句型 “ This is …” “You can see…”。 2.组织学生进行读写活动,丰富地描述农场景物,包括颜色、数量、特点等信息,学以致用。
本课 教学 目标 1.能够准确获取文章中农场中的动物及物品的名称、数量、颜色等信息,梳理、概括文章中作者用于介绍农场物品的生动表达方式和句型; 2.能够在口头和书面表达中,恰当运用地将所获取的农场物品信息和表达方式; 3.能够准确、恰当、快速地写一段文字,介绍不同农场物品,在班级中进行展示,具有了热爱自然和发愤图强的意识。
教学 重难点 重点:学会运用部分表示农场动物和物品的词汇;询问、描述和辨认物品数量、人物情感态度的目标语言。
难点:学生不能正确运用 “how many, what animals, what colour”等引导的特殊疑问句和助动词do引导的一般疑问句。
教学方法 任务型教学法、情境教学法和合作教学法相结合。

教学过程 设计意图
Step 1. Lead-in Enjoy the English song about the farm and try to sing along with it. Ss can talk about the animals they can see. T: What animals can you see on MacDonald’s farm Sa: I can see a brown horse. Sb: I can see two pigs. They are pink. Step 2. Pre-reading The teacher should guide their ss to look at the picture in 1a and ss will tick the things they see. Then, report their answers in class. Sa: I can see black and white cows. Sb: I can see a small lake. Sc: I can’t see brown ducks. I can see white ducks. Step 3. While-reading 1. Read for main idea. Look through the passage in 1b quickly and try to find out the main idea. This passage talks about the farm of Peter’s uncle. We can divide it into three parts. 2.Read for detailed information (1) Read the text quickly and circle the things the writer talks about in the picture in 1a. (2) Read again and finish 1c. The teacher will ask some students where they can find the answers. What animals does Han Lin’s uncle have on his farm How many ducks does his uncle have What is his uncle’s house Step 4. Post-reading Pair Work Work in pairs. One student asks questions, the other student answers based on the picture. Sa: What else can you see on the farm Sb: I can see cows. Sa: How many of them Sb: Seven. Sa: What colour are they Sb: They’re black and white. Group Work Provide the structure of the passage and guide ss to retell it with the help of some useful expressions. Then, try to write about Old MacDonald’s farm and show their passages in class. Give comments to each other according to the evaluation. Step 5. Conclusion Watch the video to learn about modern agriculture in China. T: Do your family have a farm Is it a traditional farming like the farm of Peter’s uncle or a modern farming Let ss have an awareness of modern agricultural development and treasure the foods on their table. Step 7. Homework 1. Copy the words on P16 in the exercise books and recite the passage in 1b. 2. Design your own dream farm and write an introduction about it. 3.
