(1)构成: “疑问词+不定式”结构是英语中常用的一种结构。疑问词是指疑问代词“who, whom, what, which, whose”和疑问副词“when, where, how”等。
(2)作用: 这种结构在句中常作主语、宾语和表语。当此结构作宾语时, 可与宾语从句进行同义转换。
动词不定式(短语)作定语修饰名词或代词时,通常放在所修饰词的后面,一般与所修饰词存在逻辑上的动宾关系。如果不定式中的动词是不及物动词,不定式后要用适当的介词,并且介词不能省略。
