Pre-listening 7’ 1. Ss listen to the recording to catch the six creative objects and match pictures in Activity One with the names of these objects. 通过图片拓展背景词汇,通过图、词、音、义的配对及时巩固新知。 正确匹配创意图片和相关英文表达。
2. T asks Ss the speciality about these six objects respectively. Ss discuss freely in groups of four and share their ideas in class. 引发学生对创新意识的思考,体会创意物品的创意之处。 用英文或中文表达创意物品的创新之处。
3. T leads students to be familiar with typical qualities for a creative person and shows the adjectives in Activity Two. Ss read and pick out the typical qualities. While-listening 23’ T tells Ss that creativity is very important to our lives. Ss listen and learn the words in the box in Activity One and guess what creative ideas the speakers come up with. 通过听读相关词汇,扫清词汇障碍,为听力做好准备。通过听前预测, 激活创新相关背景知识。 听懂并读出相关词汇与表达,明确与听力有关的对话主题。

6. T asks Ss to think about creative activities they have taken part in in the school. Ss try to recall their experiences in the school clubs. 以学校俱乐部的创意活动话题为切入点,让学生回忆自身学习生活,为第二篇听力做准备。 说出参加过的富有创意的活动,自由发言,表达流畅。
7. T reminds Ss to focus on the creative activities while listening. Ss listen to the second dialogue for the first time to locate the activities and complete the dialogue with the sentences in the box in Activity Four. 通过听力任务,训练学生获取重要信息的能力。 划出创意活动的名称并补全听力文本。
8. Ss listen to the second dialogue again and choose the activities the club organizes in Activity Five. T checks the answer and leads Ss to focus on “organize” and asks why “designing activities” is wrong. 通过听力任务训练学生判断重要细节信息的能力,发现学生的共性问题,引导学生关注关键词organize, 提取正确的信息。 选择创意活动,正确判断提取正确信息。

Post-listening 10’ T gives an example of a creative activity to lead Ss to brainstorm more. Ss work in pairs to do brainstorming and write down more creative activities. 结合对话中提及的创意活动,进行头脑风暴,培养学生发散性思维,增强创新意识。 两人一组头脑风暴,为学校俱乐部列出更多的创意活动。
2. Ss share their creative activities in class and stick the notes on the board. All the Ss vote for the most creative pair. T gives an evaluation in class and encourages Ss to do more creative thinking. 通过分享各组的创意活动,培养学生发散性思维,在分享中碰撞出智慧的火花。 班级分享各组创意活动,评选最佳创意小组。
Homework 2’ Practise role-playing the dialogues in the listening part with your partner and send the audio clip to the learning platform.
