教学目标 1. 能够正确理解与简历及求职信相关的词句,看懂并梳理通知、求职信等商务公文,结合职场实际情况,提取关键信息点。 2. 能够掌握简历、求职信等商务信函的语言特征和语篇结构,捕捉文本的关键信息,总结有效的简历及求职信撰写技巧,解决求职面试的实际问题。 3. 能够培养职业规划的意识,树立正确的求职观,在未来的求职过程中有意识地展示自己的优势。 4. 能够运用预测、扫读、略读等阅读技巧,分析语篇结构,完成语言任务;采用恰当的学习方法,如使用表格梳理思路、拓展思维、呈现信息,有养成良好的英语学习习惯的意识。
教学重点 1. 能看懂与求职简历和求职信相关的词句表达,如position, assistant manager, training package, public relations ,enclose等。 2. 能运用目标词句,结合具体情境,以书面语言展现自身的求职优势。
教学难点 能引导学生结合自身经历,了解商务信函的语言特点,掌握求职信和求职简历的语言风格,并应用到实际情景中。

Pre-reading 5’ 1. Ss study the expressions in Activity One and predict what the text might be about. 通过词汇学习,帮助学生扫除阅读中的词汇障碍;引导学生通过串联词汇,预测语篇情境。 正确识读并理解方框中单词和短语的用法。
While-reading 20’ 1. Ss skim the text and check their predictions. 在词汇学习的基础上,引导学生使用略读的阅读技巧,把握段落和语篇大意。 准确复述阅读材料的主题及大意。
2. Ss read the two questions in Activity Two and scan the text for answers. Ss share their answers and T may explain the content if they have difficulties. 引导学生利用扫读的阅读技巧,快速捕捉关键信息。 正确回答读前问题。
3. T plays the audio and help Ss with the pronunciation, intonation and pace. 通过录音再次帮助学生熟悉阅读文本,学习相关语音知识。 梳理文本内容,理解重点词句,顺畅朗读整篇文本。
4. Ss try to recognize the text type and in groups work out the language features by making contrast of the cover letter and another letter between two friends. T helps with difficult sentences and expressions. 反复精读文本内容,总结求职信的结构特点,语言特点和阅读策略。 找出求职信不同于一般信件的特点。
5. Ss read the cover letter in Activity Two again and summarize the key points. 准确概括求职信每部分内容,并提取关键信息。
6. T shows Ss some samples of CVs. Ss in pairs discuss what information to be included in the CV. 激发学生对求职简历的兴趣,引导学生了解求职简历的基本结构。 正确说出求职简历的基本要素和结构。
7. Ss read the cover letter and fill the key points in the blanks in Activity Three. T checks answers and explain important expressions. 培养学生根据上下文,理解阅读细节的能力。 准确选择正确的信息填入文本。
8. Ss compare the CV with the cover letter and discuss their similarities and differences. 引导学生综合已学的阅读技巧,通过理解文本大意、细节的方式,掌握文本内容,鼓励学生比较求职信和求职简历的异同,进而培养学生的思辨能力。 能够为自己的选择提供恰当的理由。
9. T offers more CVs for the ss’ reference. Then ss try to work out the features and contents of CV. T writes them down on the blackboard. 通过比较,归纳求职简历的结构和要素,为之后的仿写做好准备。 能够归纳出求职简历的特点和包含内容。
Post-reading 12’ 1. Ss read a lecture notice in Activity Four and observe its structure. 引导学生了解商务通知的结构,为最终语用实践奠基。 能够正确梳理商务通知的结构。
2. Ss in pairs work out the answers to the two questions in Activity Four and share their answers in groups. 通过回答问题让学生归纳和巩固所学,并过度到职场培训的话题,提升真实情境中的语用能力。 帮助学生培养职业思维,调用适合的学习资源,开展符合要求的语言交际活动。
3. Ss are asked to write a letter notice for another letter offered by T, share it to the whole class, and then give peer-to-peer evaluation. 搭建真实的语言输出的平台,真正内化所学知识,提升语言综合运用和问题处理的能力。 结合自身实际经历,进入职场思维,恰当地给出同伴评价。
Summary & Homework 3’ Summary: With the help of T, Ss try to sort out the knowledge points. Homework: Ss write a CV to their ideal job and share it in the next class. 梳理板书内容,高效整理本课思路,归纳知识点。课后仿写一份理想工作的求职信,加深学生对求职应聘的理解,对所学内容做好全面的总结。 重构知识框架,发挥主观能动性,巩固重点词句,开展语言实践,培养求职意识。
