单元名称 Unit 4 Travel Arrangements 课型 Listening and Speaking
教学目标 1. 能够掌握与旅行安排相关的词汇和语句，听懂并讨论旅行准备、旅行经历、旅行产品等相关内容。 2. 能够了解思考出国游和国内游不同的行前准备，建立差异意识，避免跨文化交际障碍。 3. 能够运用抓取关键信息、结合上下文等听力策略，完成语言任务；采用恰当的学习方法，如信息搜索、计划制定等来梳理思路、拓展知识面，培养良好的英语学习习惯。
教学重点 1. 能听懂并掌握与旅行前期事宜相关的语句表达，如travel agency, local language, exchange money, make preparation, route, resort, package tour, independent tour等。 2. 能够对顾客春节哈尔滨出游计划提供有效的旅行建议。
教学难点 掌握与旅行产品相关的语句表达，并应用到实际场景中。

Warm-up 3’ Ss look at the Unit picture and discuss the two questions: (1) What are the people doing (2) How do you make travel arrangement T could highlight the phrase of Travel arrangement. 结合本单元话题，从图像化的内容入手，引导学生思考过往的旅游经历，调动学生参与讨论的积极性，导入单元话题。 学生能够说出talking/discussing/planning等与计划相关的词汇。
Pre-listening 8’ 1. T creates a scene where a client plans to travel abroad and asks Ss what he should prepare before a trip. Then Ss listen to the recording and match the words to the pictures and find the differences and similarity when preparing tours abroad and around China. 通过图、词、音、义的对应，帮助学生学习与旅行前期准备工作相关的词汇,并比较比较国内外旅行前期准备的差别。 正确对应与旅行前期准备工作相关的图片和英文词汇,思考出国游和国内游不同的行前准备，建立差异意识。
2. Based on travel experience and the recording, Ss discuss the three questions in Activity Two in groups. 引导学生回顾过往旅行经历，讨论旅行应做准备，市外省外旅行经历，及暑期旅行计划，激活与主题相关的背景知识。 能够利用所学词汇说出旅行准备和过往旅行经历。
While-listening 22’ 1. Ss study the expressions in Activity one and try to predict the content of the dialogue. 在上文内容的基础上，引导学生进入话题情境，铺垫听力任务相关的预备知识。 学会并理解方框内词汇；能够通过串联词汇，猜测对话主题。
2. Ss listen to the dialogue between two friends and check their prediction. 通过听力任务，培养学生把握大意的能力。 准确获取听力材料的主题及大意。
3. Ss listen again and complete the blanks in Activity Three. 精听材料内容，训练学生理解细节的听力策略。 正确捕捉听力材料中的关键信息。
4. T shows the dialogue text. Ss underline the key words to check answers. T explains the key expressions. 夯实重点词句，加深文本理解，为后续的语言输出铺垫。 梳理对话内容，标注语言要点，便于理解重点词句。
5. Ss have a role play (Wang Lu and Li Ming) to read the dialogue . 采取角色扮演，以口语练习的方式达到“以听促说”的目的。 能够用正确的语音语调，自然顺畅地进行对话交流。
6. Ss in groups brainstorm what they would like to do when going to Beijing or Shanghai and share their ideas with the class. 学生进行头脑风暴，思考旅行目的地可以开展的旅行活动，激发对旅行计划的思考。 能够简单描述在北京或上海可开展的旅行活动。
7. Ss read the sentences in Activity Four and try to predict what might happen in the dialogue. 在理解方框内重点表达的基础上，引导学生进入话题情境，预测对话大意。 准确预测对话主题。
8. Ss listen to the dialogue to check their predictions and complete it with the sentences in the box. 培养学生根据上下文理解内容的能力，选择合适的答案。 正确选择相应的句子。
9. Ss read the dialogue and learn the important vocabulary and expressions. T explains the expressions in Notes. 夯实重点词句，加深文本理解，为后续的语言输出铺垫。 理解重点词句，理解构词法。
10. Ss read the dialogue according to the recording. 朗读文本，理解两个角色不同的语气等。 能够用不同的语气表现咨询顾客和旅行社员工。
Post-listening 10’ 1. Ss work in pairs and discuss their past travelling experiences of talking with travel agent. 通过角色扮演，帮助学生进一步理解为顾客介绍旅行产品的职业场景中，提升学生的职业意识，提升学生在真实环境中的语用能力。 形成职业意识，能够在顾客咨询旅行建议场景中给予恰当的反馈。
2. Ss have a role play (as a client and a travel agent). T and other students evaluate and give feedback.
Summary & Homework 2’ Summary: With T’s help, Ss try to sort out the knowledge points. Homework: 1) Ss summarize the preparation a travel should have made before travelling. 2) Ss practice the dialogue between a client and a travel agent. 梳理板书内容，高效整理本课思路，归纳知识点。通过学生介绍旅行前准备和练习顾客咨询旅行建议情景对话，夯实所学，为下一阶段的阅读教学作铺垫。 构建知识框架，巩固重点词句，开展语言实践，促进交流与互动。
