1.else 只修饰两类词 ：
(1)修饰 不定代词 如 someone / someplace/ anything来指代另外一
个，而不特别指明哪一个。
如： i had nothing else to do
(2) 修饰 wh- word。如what /who/where等
如 what else do i need to do
else多用于特殊疑问词后。 而other主要修饰名词，放在名词前面。

解析： else意思是其它的，常用于疑问词后。再如：Who else where else 或用于不定代词后:Anything else 还有什么 Anyone else 还有谁？

other 其它的，普通的形容词，放在名词前做定语。
