Period 2 Pronunciation (1 –4)
【教学内容】
1.学习五个短元音:/ /,/e/,/ /,/ /,/ /,并通过单词发音练习加以巩固。
2.将所给单词按照发音归类。

1.学生能够正确发出五个短元音的音素,并能正确朗读相关单词。
2.通过分类练习,提高学生的语音辨识能力;通过绕口令的朗读,提高学生的口语流利度和节奏感。

【重点难点】
重点:正确发音五个短元音音素。
难点:区分相似音素,尤其是/ /和/e/,/ /和/ /的发音差异。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Lead- in
1. Greet the students and ask them to share their favourite animals.
2. Introduce the topic of pronunciation and explain its importance in English learning.
Step 2 Work on Pronunciation 1
1. Show the five short vowel sounds / /,/e/,/ /,/ /,/ / on the board.
2. Play the audio and ask students to listen and repeat after the recording, paying attention to the sounds.
3. Ask students to practise the sounds individually and then in pairs.
Step 3 Work on Pronunciation 2
1. Listen to the words and repeat.
2. Put the words in Pronunciation 2 into the correct groups.
3, Check the answers.

Step 4 Work on Pronunciation 3
1. Show the words “ up, dad, Chinese, dress, five, it, coke, late, mute, pot” on the board.
2. Ask students to listen to the audio exam and put the words into the correct groups based on their vowel sounds. Check the answers together and correct any misclassification.
3. Have students practise reading the words individually, paying attention to the vowel sounds. Encourage students to read aloud in pairs or small groups for peer correction.
Step 5 Work on Pronunciation 4
1、Show the chant on the board. Play the audio of the chant and ask students to listen care- fully.
2、Explain any unfamiliar vocabulary or expressions in the chant.
3. Have students practise reading the chant in pairs or small groups.
4、Invite several students to read the chant aloud in front of the class.
Step 6 Summary and Homework
Summarize the key points learned in the lesson, emphasizing the correct pronunciation of the five short vowels.
Assign homework: Ask students to record themselves reading the words and the chant at home and practise their pronunciation.
