VI. Teaching Procedures1. Lead-in (3 minutes) Show a picture of a messy room and ask students how they feel. Then introduce the theme of "Keep Tidy". Ask students if they know any English words related to tidiness.2. Presentation (15 minutes) Present the letters Ii to Rr one by one on the blackboard or multimedia. Demonstrate the pronunciation of each letter and ask students to repeat. Show some words containing these letters and ask students to read after the teacher. For example, "ice", "jeep", "kite", etc.3. Pronunciation Practice (20 minutes) Play the audio of pronunciation 1-4. Ask students to listen and repeat.
