教学目标 1. 能够通过阅读,找出与美相关的事物,并恰当使用所学词句将三种美的原因表达出来。 2. 能够找出语篇中对美的不同描述,并提炼出三种类型的美在何处。能够在不同的语境下思考并采取正确的表达。 3. 能够读懂三种不同类型的美,发现与感知生活中的外在美与内在美,能简单描述不同的美。 4. 能够运用预测、把握大意、理解细节、根据文本结构推断语篇意义与功能等理解策略完成阅读任务;能够通过与同学讨论,自主探究语篇中的美,鉴赏、分析美的实质与内涵。
思政目标: 能够激发审美意识,乐于感知生活中的美,发现身边的美,养成热爱生活的积极态度。
教学重点 能识记与本语篇核心意义相关的表达,如beauty, physical, invisible, heart and soul, relaxation, driving force, appreciate, attentive等。 能在语境中正确使用与本语篇相关的重点表达,如heart and soul, calm down, power, silence, unite等。 能够从语篇中找出与美相关的事物。
教学难点 能提炼出三种类型的美在何处。

Warm-up And Revision 10’ T asks some groups to display their posters made in the previous lesson. T asks some Ss to give evaluations on content and grammar. 通过展示上节课的家庭作业,鼓励学生思考并评价,同时积累更多对于艺术的不同见解,完善学生的知识与价值体系。 能够尝试表述介绍海报内容,并对其他作品展开评价。
T shows Ss six pictures of beauty and asks Ss to tell the names of them. T helps Ss to retell more about the beauty they have learnt last time. 复习上一节课的主要内容,引导学生学习回顾相关背景知识和主题词汇。 用英文尝试说出图片以及关于美的英文表达。
Pre-reading 5’ 1. Ss listen to the recording of words from the box in Activity One and read aloud to learn the new words. 为重点词汇作铺垫,并通过词、音、义的配对及时巩固新知。 正确朗读与说出相关英文表达。
2. T asks Ss to try to guess what the text is about according to the new words. 运用读前预测策略,引导学生提高思维分析与判断能力,激发阅读兴趣。 预测出语篇大意。

While-reading 24’ T asks Ss to skim the text to check whether their guesses are right or not. T encourages Ss to find out and give the supporting information from the text. 通过阅读掌握文章大意,核对读前预测,提高学生阅读的专注度和效率。 读懂并找出相关词句,明确语篇的主题。
Ss scan the text and circle the beautiful things mentioned. 通过快速阅读任务训练学生获取信息的能力,训练学生更好地运用语境分析信息的策略。 正确捕捉阅读语篇中的关键词(flowers; landscapes; music; the laughter of a child; the singing of a bird; the sound of a thunderstorm; the morning raindrops; silence; love)
Ss check in pairs and find out the sentences including the answers. 找到关键词所在的句子,理解主题,获取大意。
Some Ss read the sentences and T checks the answers with the Ss, reminding them to focus on the meaning of the sentences.
Ss listen and read the text after the recording. T reminds Ss to focus on the pronunciation, intonation and rhyme. 通过朗读任务训练学生及时巩固重点词句的含义和发音,提高熟练度,改善表达和发音,加深对语篇的理解。 发音准确,语音语调与节奏恰当。
Ss read the text and find out the sentences difficult to understand. 通过发现、讨论语篇中的难点,合作学习以完善语言学习策略,提高自主学习能力。教师帮助学生解决理解中的难点,以巩固、加强对语言的运用,为后续语言输出打下基础。 能找出难点句子。
Ss discuss in pairs, trying to solve the problems with each other. 能够相互帮助理解句子。
Ss raise the questions and T gives a hand in class. Meanwhile, T highlights the important words, phrases, expressions and sentences in the text where Ss mark and take explanatory notes. 理解、说出语言点的用法及难点句子的主要含义。根据教师讲解,记录重点笔记。
9. T asks Ss which kind of beauty they like the best, as well as the reasons. Ss answer with simple words. 通过在语篇中找关键词,提炼信息,提高学生高阶思维能力。鼓励学生表达观点,为后续语言输出打下基础。 尝试说出自己的喜好,并能够用简单的语言表达观点。
10. T asks Ss to read the text again, finding the reasons why three kinds of beauty are beautiful. 能够在语篇中找出相关任务的关键词。
11. Ss discuss in group of four exchanging their findings and filling in the form in Activity Three. T leads the Ss to find the answers. 能够根据关键词或短语提炼出信息并正确填表。
Post-reading 5’ 1. T leads the Ss to review the new words and expressions learnt today. 引导学生回顾、强化本节课新授单词及表达。 能准确说出新授单词或表达的含义。
2. Ss read the five words and expressions from the box in Activity Four and tell their meanings. T checks their understanding. Ss complete the sentences with the correct form of the words and expressions. 及时巩固重点字词和表达的理解,培养学生在不同的语境中判断、分析、使用所学单词或词组的能力。 能运用单词的正确形式完成句子。
3. T checks the answers with the students, explaining them if possible. 引导学生快速回顾、梳理、总结、归纳和强化学习内容。 能理解、总结教师的讲解,分析出自己运用语言的错误原因。
Homework 1’ 1. Review and remember the new words and expressions learnt today, listing all learnt in the notebook. 2. Practise reading aloud the text and send the audio clip to the learning platform. 复习、识记、巩固所学内容。朗读课文,上传学习平台,开展即时评价,完善学习评价电子档案袋。复习、夯实相关内容,为下一阶段的写作教学作铺垫。 利用学习平台开展语言实践,促进交流与互动;利用笔记本构建知识框架,巩固重点词句。
