教学目标 1. 能够通过阅读，找出语篇中介绍的美国公司在招聘中对软技能的态度，理解招聘中最受重视的十项软技能，并恰当使用所学词句表达培养软技能的必要性；能够使用升调正确发音。 2. 能够通过读懂语篇中的数据，分析出美国公司在招聘中对软技能的态度；能分辨出使用升调的句型。 3. 能够发现与感知国外企业对于软技能的态度，了解最看重的十项软技能，从而激发自身培养职业软技能、提升职业素养的意识。 4. 能够运用预测、根据数据把握语篇大意等理解策略完成阅读任务；能够通过与同学沟通，自主探究语篇中的核心意义，自主观察使用升调的句型；对自己的语言知识、语言技能等进行自主评价，自我检测对单元内容的掌握程度。
思政目标： 能够认识到软技能是国内、国外现代社会对人才综合素质的重点要求，重视培养掌握软技能，提升综合能力，促进全面发展。

Warm-up And Revision 5’ T invites several Ss to introduce the skills they want to develop (homework last time). T gives the feedback. 通过展示作业，带领学生复习旧知，回忆所学的背景知识和主题词汇，让学生快速做好进一步学习本节课话题的准备；此环节也起到强化词汇学习效果的作用，为本课相关背景词汇的学习作铺垫。 用英文尝试介绍自身所需要发展的技能。
Pre-reading 5’ 1. T shows Ss two pictures of American companies and asks Ss to guess what skills Americans want the most and which skills are more important to them, hard skills or soft skills. T helps Ss to talk more about soft skills Ss mention. 学习重点词汇，调动学生阅读兴趣,引导学生运用读前预测的阅读策略。 正确说出相关英文表达，并用简单的英文说出相关原因。
2. T gives Ss some data and asks Ss to think about the meaning of them. 2,138 77% 16% 尝试猜一猜数据的含义与指向。
While-reading 18’ T asks Ss to skim the text and get the gist of it. Ss check their prediction. 通过扫读掌握文章大意，核对读前预测，提高学生阅读的专注度和效率。 读懂并找出相关词句，明确语篇的主题。
Ss read the text and underline the sentences which show the kind of employees that employers are looking for. 通过阅读任务训练学生获取信息的能力，尤其是能够找到围绕主题事物描述的特定信息。 正确捕捉阅读语篇中的关键性语言。
Ss check in pairs, and circle the keywords in the sentences. T checks the answers with Ss. 鼓励学生通过讨论找到描述性语言中的关键词，从而引导学生把握语篇的主旨。 找到句子中的关键词(majority, more important than, hiring managers, human resources)，理解大意。
Ss discuss in groups of four the top 10 soft skills the companies look for, telling the meanings of them. 在小组讨论中,学生主动思考十大软技能，在增加知识储备的同时，更加了解软技能在职场中的重要性。 准确说出十大软技能的含义。
Post-reading 9’ 1. Ss do group work and discuss the reasons for developing soft skills. T reminds Ss that they can use the sentences in the text or simple words of their own to express. 通过小组讨论，引导学生回顾、强化本节课语篇内容及重点表达，同时鼓励学生思考软技能的重要性，并用自己的语言表述。 能尝试说出培养软技能的理由。
2. Ss discuss in groups of four the top 10 soft skills they think in China, telling the reasons with each other. T helps Ss if possible. 通过讨论开放性问题，培养学生判断、分析以及选择的能力，并能用所学单词或词组有逻辑的进行简单表达的能力。教师通过指导，帮助学生解决语言表达的困难，使思维能力培养更加流畅。 能尝试选出中国最需要培养的10项软技能，并能简单、完整地表达原因。
3. Some Ss share the answers in class and T gives assessments. 鼓励学生分享，表达自己的观点，同时给出建议。 能用简单的语言有逻辑的表达。
Fun Time 5’ T shows four examples of intonation and reads for Ss, asking them to listen and try to tell where to use rising tone. 给出范例，引导学生主动观察语用知识，总结出用法。 能分辨并尝试说出升调的位置。
Ss discuss in pairs and observe the examples, trying to conclude what kind of sentence uses rising tone. T checks the answers with Ss . 学生通过讨论、沟通，总结出使用升调的句型特征，培养其自主学习能力。 能尝试总结出使用升调的句型类别。
Ss read after T, learning how to use rising tone. 通过跟读，构建学生的正确的知识体系，以及加强其对于知识运用的能力。 正确使用升调朗读句子。

Homework 1’ 1. Review and remember the new words and expressions learnt today. 2. Practise reading aloud the text and send the audio clip to the learning platform. 3. Upload the photo of My Progress Check to the learning platform. 4.
