思政目标: 能够区分职场软、硬技能的不同作用,认识到软、硬技能各自的重要性。 能够重视社会对人才素质的不同要求,激发自主提升个人发展必备的综合能力的意识。
教学重点 能识记与本语篇核心意义相关的表达,如soft skills, hard skills, technical, interpersonal, job performance, necessity, persuade sb. to do, colleague, inventive, establish good relations, refer to, , carry out, be meant to do, compete with等。 能在语境中正确使用与本语篇相关的重点表达,如colleague, inventive, establish good relations, refer to, , carry out, be meant to do, compete with, persuade sb. to do等。 能够从语篇中找出软技能的作用。

Warm-up And Revision 10’ T asks some groups to display their posters in class made last time. T asks some Ss to give evaluations on content and grammar. 通过展示上节课的家庭作业,鼓励学生思考并评价,同时积累更多对于投诉的不同解决方案,提升学生的职场应对能力。 能够尝试表述介绍投诉的不同解决方案,并对其他方法展开评价。
T shows Ss some pictures of skills their major covers and asks Ss to tell the names of them. T asks Ss to tell the most important skills they should have and helps Ss to retell more about soft skills they have learnt last time. 结合学生专业,梳理重要技能,引导学生思考本专业的要求,激发其主动规划与学习的兴趣,同时为硬技能与软技能的讲解作铺垫,复习上一节课的主要内容,让学生回顾相关背景知识和主题词汇,为下面的阅读阶段做准备。 用英文尝试说出图片以及关于硬、软技能的英文表达。
Pre-reading 5’ 1. Ss listen to the recording about the words from the box in Activity One and read aloud to learn the new words. 学习重点词汇,并通过词、音、义的配对及时巩固新知。 正确朗读与说出相关英文表达。
2. T asks Ss to try to guess what the text is about according to the new words. 运用读前预测策略,引导学生提高思维分析与判断能力,激发阅读兴趣。 预测出语篇大意。
Ss tell reasons for their prediction and T encourages Ss to predict further what information the text will give. T helps with Ss’ explanation and elicits as many background words and expressions as possible for Ss. 鼓励学生说出判断语篇大意的依据,锻炼学生的逻辑推理能力,并进一步引出背景词汇,扫清阅读障碍。 预测背景词汇并借助背景词汇来说明判断依据。
While-reading 24’ T asks Ss to skim the text to check whether their guesses are right or not. T encourages Ss to find out and give the supporting information from the text. 通过阅读掌握文章大意,核对读前预测,提高学生阅读的专注度和效率。 读懂并找出相关词句,明确语篇的主题。
Ss scan the text and circle the benefits of soft skills mentioned. Some Ss read the sentences and T checks the answers with the Ss, reminding them to focus on the meaning of the sentences. 找到关键词所在的句子,理解主题,获取大意。
Ss listen and read the text after the recording. T reminds Ss to focus on the pronunciation, intonation and rhyme. 通过朗读任务训练学生及时巩固重点词句的含义和发音,提高熟练度,改善表达和发音,加深对语篇的理解。 发音准确,语音语调与节奏恰当。
Ss read the text and find out the sentences difficult to understand. 通过发现、讨论语篇中的难点,合作学习以完善语言学习策略,提高自主学习能力。教师帮助学生解决理解中的难点,以巩固、加强对语言的运用,为后续语言输出打下基础。 能找出难点句子。
Ss discuss in pairs, trying to solve the problems with each other. 能够相互帮助理解句子。
Ss raise the questions and T gives a hand in class. Meanwhile, T highlights the important words, phrases, expressions and sentences in the text where Ss mark and take explanatory notes. 理解、说出语言点的用法及难点句子的主要含义。根据教师讲解,记录重点笔记。

T asks Ss to read the text again and finish the diagram in Activity 3. 引导学生根据对应的解释进行对比、分析和归类,填写完成思维导图中对于软、硬技能的具体分类以提高学生高阶思维能力,同时为后续语言输出打下基础。 能够在语篇中找出相关任务的关键词,完成思维导图。
Ss discuss in group of four exchanging their findings and filling in the diagram. T leads the Ss to find out the answers. 能够根据关键词或短语提炼出信息并正确填表。
Post-reading 5’ 1. T leads the Ss to review the new words and expressions learnt today. 引导学生回顾、强化本节课新授单词及表达。 能准确说出新授单词或表达的含义。
2. Ss read the five words and expressions from the box in Activity Four and tell their meanings. T checks their understanding. Ss replace the underlined parts with the correct form of the words and expressions. 及时巩固重点字词和表达的理解,培养学生在不同的语境中判断、分析、使用所学单词或词组的能力。 能运用单词的正确形式替换句子划线部分。
3. T checks the answers with the students, explaining if possible. 引导学生快速回顾、梳理、总结、归纳和强化学习内容。 能理解、总结教师的讲解,分析出自己运用语言的错误原因。
Homework 1’ 1. Review and remember the new words and expressions learnt today, listing all learnt in the notebook. 2.
