Warm-up8’ T asks Ss to introduce prairie in class. Ss are encouraged to give answers by referring to their rewritten texts in their notebooks (homework last time). T asks the following question to introduce today's topic: We have learnt that a prairie ecosystem is important to the nature. Pre-reading4’ T asks Ss what measures they will introduce if they design a flyer for the prairie ecosystem. T encourages Ss to tell their ideas. Then, T shows pictures to explain that as a powerful and key part of the nature and earth ecosystem, human society can affect earth ecosystem both directly and indirectly and all of us can take measures to help protect it. T gives examples of protection measures in daily life and encourages Ss to brainstorm more measures in groups. T adds Ss’ answers to the board writing. 让学生明确人与自然的共生关系以及保护生态的必要性，为相关背景知识和词汇作铺垫，为阅读语篇做准备。 明确人类作为自然及生态系统的重要部分，能影响生态系统，而每个人都能为保护生态环境贡献自己的力量；在小组头脑风暴后用英语说出保护生态系统的环保措施。
While-reading18’ T shows the "Go Green Week" flyer in Activity Six and asks Ss to find out the environmental protection measures on it. Ss read the flyer and tell what green activities it introduces. Ss can tell the names of activities if they have difficulty introducing the activities in detail. T checks Ss' answers. 训练学生阅读语篇快速获取要点信息的能力。 说出五项环保活动主题名称。
Ss read the flyer again to find out the keywords that can show the form of the activities like food court, test, exchange, debate, playground etc. T encourages Ss to tell in Chinese what exact things will be done in these five activities. Post-reading14’ 1. T asks Ss to work in groups of four to find out the necessary parts and format of a flyer. T checks on Ss' findings and then shows more flyer examples to introduce the basic parts and format of a flyer. Then T completes the board writing with the parts of a flyer and Ss fill in the detailed information. 引导学生合作探究宣传海报的基本内容和编排形式，利用板书再次回顾海报细节信息，为自行设计班级环保海报作铺垫。 小组合作讨论并汇报宣传海报的基本内容和编排形式，依据板书提示将海报细节信息填入。
2. T sets the task: Follow the example flyer and design another "Go Green Week" flyer in groups for our class. T shows pictures to help Ss brainstorm more environmental protection measures. With the help of the picture hints, Ss brainstorm and design activities for their flyers in groups. T goes around the class and helps with vocabulary. 提出海报设计任务，引导学生合作讨论宣传单中的环保宣传活动，培养学生小组合作及创造能力。 小组合作讨论后确定即将设计进环保宣传单的各项活动信息。
3. Following the example flyer and the guide of the board writing, Ss work in groups to design their flyers. Then, Ss show and report their flyers in front of class group by group. T comments on and improves the flyers if needed. Ss vote for the best flyers according to creativity, format, handwriting, etc. 小组制作、汇报、分享、评选环保宣传单能有效增加学习成就感，补全有关环保措施的语言知识，进一步提升环保意识和公民素质，同时也高效锻炼了学生分工、合作、展示、讲解等能力。 小组内合理分工设计宣传单的标题、活动主题、时间、地点、活动形式等内容；有条理地汇报展示小组所设计的作品，做到语言响亮、准确；根据创意、排版、书写等元素评选出最佳宣传单。
Homework1’ 1. Practise reading the text and the audio clip to the learning platform. 2. Add environmental protection measures and activities shown in the flyers to the notebook. 朗读语篇并将音频上传学习平台以便师生开展即时评价、完善学习评价电子档案袋；在笔记本上补充学生在宣传单分享环节中获取的环保措施和活动以复习、夯实本课内容并为后续教学作铺垫。 利用学习平台开展语言实践，促进交流与互动；利用笔记本完善知识框架，巩固重点内容。
