While-reading 25’ T tells Ss to skim the text in two minutes and try to tell the main topic of the text after reading. Then T checks the answer in class. 浏览语篇，找到主题，核对读前预测是否准确。 在两分钟内快速浏览语篇，说出主题大意。
T asks Ss to locate the different opinions of the three people and underline the topic sentences. Ss conduct an intensive reading and fulfill the task. 通过阅读任务训练学生精读，运用定位主题句的阅读策略总结三人的观点。 精读语篇，划出表达文中三人观点的主题句或表达。

Post-reading 8’ 1. Ss do matching in Activity Three according to the underlined topic sentences in the text. T checks the answers with the class and leads Ss to pay attention to the way the three people express their opinions. 根据语篇中的划线主题句，选择三人的观点，学习如何总结观点。 正确匹配三人的观点，说说如何表达观点。
T invites some Ss to talk freely on how to be creative and lists their answers on the board. 由语篇内容联系实际，思考如何培养创新意识，阅读拓展思考，深化阅读。 就如何能作为一个富有创新意识的学生展开讨论。
Homework 2’ Review the text and underline the difficult language points. Try to figure out the meaning and usages of the difficult language points with the help of a dictionary. 通过反思性阅读，加深对文章的理解，检查自己的理解是否存在疑问。 划出有疑问的语言难点，借助工具书等尝试解决语言难点。
