第四课时　Section B 1a—1d
　　The discourse of the lesson is two students' posts.The first post is about Pauline Lee's personal information and the second one is about Peter Brown's.The discourse uses simple and straightforward language that is easy to understand，without complex sentence structures or esoteric vocabulary，making it suitable for seventh graders.
The posts are about two students' age，country，family，favourite food and place，and hobby.What's more，they are related to students' daily life，so students will be more interested in the topic.
◆ Language Proficiency(语言能力)
1．Clearly define the core vocabulary，sentence patterns，and grammatical rules that students need to master.
2．Identify and anticipate potential learning barriers for students，such as pronunciation difficulties，grammatical confusion，etc.

Guide students to understand cultural background knowledge related to the content being learned，enhancing cross cultural communication skills.

Analyze the causes of difficulties and design targeted teaching strategies，such as using example explanations，repeated practice，and group collaboration，to help students overcome obstacles.

Employ innovative teaching methods like multimedia resources，situational teaching，and gamified learning to stimulate students' interest and enhance teaching effectiveness.

T：Now，let's compare ourselves with either Pauline or Peter.What do you have in common with them？What are your differences？Share your thoughts with your partner.
S1：I'm like Peter because I also enjoy music.But I often play the erhu after school.
S2：I'm like Pauline because I like birds too.I also have a pet parrot at home.
T：It's great to see you making connections between the text and your own life.Keep sharing your ideas!
(Then the teacher invites some other students to share their ideas in class and encourages them to use the target language they've learned.)

Activity 6 Homework(反馈与强化)
Write a short post about yourself，including your hobbies，interests，and something unique about yourself.Share it with a family member or friend，and ask for their feedback.
Read the posts in the textbook with feelings.
The success lies in the diverse activity design，positive teacher student interaction，and clear knowledge hierarchy.However，student participation in some sections needs improvement，time management should be enhanced，and feedback requires more specificity and personalization.This lesson effectively stimulated students' interest in learning through a variety of activities，such as games，interactive Q & A，and self reflection，which promoted active student participation.At the same time，the clearly structured design of knowledge points helped students progressively build an understanding and application ability of character descriptions.
