discussing their favourite subjects in the form of dialogue,presenting talking scenes and language,and helping students establish a subject concept.This dialogue is talking about their favourite subjects and the reasons why they like them best.This lesson helps the students initially establish the sense of using conjunctions in paragraphs and complete a brief report on a school day or subject that the class likes,and explain why.◆ Language Proficiency(语言能力)1.Master the target language and inquire about the preference of subjects,such as “What's your favourite subject?” Inquire about the speak out their favourite subjects and the reasons why they like the subjects best.It helps to stimulate students' interest in English speaking cultures and improve their cross cultural communication Prediction(感知与注意)Students look at the picture in the text and guess what they are talking about,according to the knowledge they learned before.The teacher can give them proper suggestions,and lead them to talk about the subject.There are three students,so there are three favourite subjects and reasons.Use the following questions:What are they talking about What's your favourite subject What do you learn from the subject 设计意图:利用谈话引入主题,创设情景,激发学生的参与兴趣,鼓励学生表达所(不)喜爱的学科、以及(不)喜爱的原因。通过预测性任务,激发学生的思维,培养学生运用情景线索进行推理和预测的能力。Activity 2 Listening(感知与注意)Work on 2a—2cBefore listening:According to the instructions of 2a and Activity 1,predict what we will listen.With the help of the teacher,students will guess it's about the subjects.Let students stimulate their minds towards the listening.While listening:There are three students in listening,and they are Emma,Binbin and Meimei.What are their favourite subjects?And why do they like them Listen to the conversation for the first time,fill in the blanks and try to answer the questions above.Students can check their answers with their partners,and then they discuss in a low voice.Then listen for the second time.This time,students should focus on the problems they can't complete.After listening,the teacher checks the answers and the students correct them.Next let students listen for the third time.This time,students can check their tasks they did and pay attention to the words that link together.After listening:Let students role play the short report with the results of the discussion.They can begin like this:I love _Friday_ morning best.We have a fun class then.It's _English_ class.It's _exciting…Have a summary to go over what we've
