教学目标 1. 能够通过阅读，找出语篇中介绍的三种美的事物（珠宝、汽车、现代家具），并恰当使用所学词句将最喜欢的事物的原因表达出来；能够使用降调正确发音。 2. 能够找出语篇中对三种美的事物的不同描述，通过分析比较选择最欣赏的事物并能有逻辑的表达原因；能分辨出使用降调的句型。 3. 能够读懂三种不同美的事物，发现与感知世界上存在的外在美与内在美，树立正确的审美观。 4. 能够运用预测、把握大意、理解细节等理解策略完成阅读任务；能够通过与同学沟通，自主探究语篇中的美，鉴赏、分析美的实质与内涵，自主观察使用降调的句型；对自己的语言知识、语言技能等进行自主评价，自我检测对单元内容的掌握程度。

Warm-up And Revision 5’ T invites several Ss to display their writings (homework last time) and introduce the most beautiful thing in their life. T gives the feedback. 通过展示作业，带领学生复习旧知，回忆所学的背景知识和主题词汇，让学生快速做好进一步学习本节课话题的准备；此环节也起到强化词汇学习效果、为本课相关背景词汇的学习作铺垫。 用英文尝试介绍生活中的美以及能准确说出关于美的英文表达。
Pre-reading 5’ 1. T shows Ss three pictures of beauty (jewellery, cars and modern furniture) and asks Ss to tell the names of them. T asks Ss which one they like best, and the reasons. T helps Ss to talk more about these three kinds of beauty. 学习重点词汇，调动学生阅读兴趣,引导学生运用读前预测的阅读策略。 正确说出相关英文表达,并用简单的英文说出相关原因。
While-reading 18’ T asks Ss to skim the text and get the gist of it. Ss check their prediction. 通过扫读掌握文章大意，核对读前预测，提高学生阅读的专注度和效率。 读懂并找出相关词句，明确语篇的主题。
Ss read the text and underline the sentences which describe the beautiful things mentioned. 通过阅读任务训练学生获取信息的能力，尤其是能够找到围绕主题事物描述的特定信息。 正确捕捉阅读语篇中的描述性语言。

Post-reading 9’ 1. T shows Ss three beautiful things mentioned in the text again, reviewing the names of them and the kinds of beauty behind them. 引导学生回顾、强化本节课新授单词及表达。 能准确说出新授单词或表达的含义。
2. Ss discuss in groups of four about the beauty they like best, telling the reasons with each other. T helps Ss if possible. 培养学生判断、分析以及选择的能力，并能用所学单词或词组有逻辑的进行简单表达的能力。教师通过指导，帮助学生解决语言表达的困难，使思维能力培养更加流畅。 能明确最喜欢的一种美的事物，并能简单、完整的表达原因。
