Warm-up 3’ T plays the recording of words and expressions in Activity One. Ss read after the recording. T asks Ss to predict the topic of the text. 导入阅读主题, 预习词汇,引导学生学习有关梦想主题的词汇和背景知识。 正确跟读词汇,预测阅读语篇的主题。
Pre-reading 7’ 1. T asks Ss to talk about how to realise one’s dream. Ss discuss in groups and list the ways of realising one’s dream. 通过自由讨论引出阅读主题,训练口语表达,使用主题相关词汇。 小组罗列实现梦想的举措。
2. Ss share their opinions on how to realise one’s dream and T lists them on the board. 全班交流分享如何实现梦想,为后面的写作做铺垫。 全班分享,教师将学生观点归类并板书。
While-reading 25’ T tells Ss to skim the text in two minutes and try to tell the main topic of the text after reading. After reading, T checks the answer in class. 浏览语篇,找到主题,核对读前预测是否准确。 在两分钟内快速浏览语篇,说出主题大意。
T asks Ss to underline the ways that Wu Wei realised his dream. Ss conduct an intensive reading and fulfill the task in Activity Two. 通过阅读任务训练学生精读,运用寻读策略找到吴伟实现梦想的行动。 精读语篇,划出表达吴伟实现梦想的行动。
T invites some students to share their answers. Ss can check the answers and get the correct information. 通过全班核对语篇主题,精读语篇,学生理解吴伟实现梦想的行动,理解圆梦的举措。 核对关键信息,确认理解吴伟为梦想所付出的努力。

Post-reading 8’ 1. Ss complete the mind map in Activity Three according to the underlined information in the text. T checks the answer in class and leads Ss to think about how to realise a dream. 根据语篇中的划线信息,完成思维导图,分析吴伟实现梦想的举措。 正确总结吴伟获得晋升从而圆梦的信息,思考如何实现梦想。
T invites some Ss to talk freely on how to realise their dreams in their career. Ss can talk in groups of four. 深化语篇阅读,联系实际思考如何实现职业梦想。 自由讨论,说说如何实现个人职业梦想。
Homework 2’ Review the text and underline the difficult language points. Try to figure out the meaning and usages of the difficult language points with the help of dictionary. 通过反思性阅读,加深对文章的理解,检查自己的理解是否存在疑问。 划出有疑问的语言难点并借助工具书等尝试解决。
