第三课时　Grammar Focus
1．Know simple present tense in interrogative sentences：the affirmative answers and negative answers of general questions and special questions.
2．Know the matching of personal pronouns with be verbs：I，he，she，it，you，we，they.
3．Know adjective possessive pronouns：my，your，his，her，its，our，their.

Step 1　Review & Lead in
1．Show students some pictures and ask them to tell the information according to the key words.
(When students are sharing their answers，the teacher writes down the fallible words on the blackboard.)
T：Look at the picture.Who is he？Can you tell something about the boy？The words in the picture will help you to know more.

Step 2　Grammar(3a)
Work on 3a
1．Ask students to read the sentences in the grammar box by themselves.
T：Look at the two charts.Interrogative sentences are on the left，and answers are on the right.You have two minutes to read the sentences and circle the verbs.Pay attention to the change of “be”．
2．Ask students to write am，is，or are next to the personal pronouns in the grammar box.
T：What proper be verbs should match the pronouns “I/You/He/She/It”？Let's make a summary.
(When students share the answers，the teacher writes key points on the blackboard.If necessary，correct their answers at the same time.)
3．Give students 2 minutes to read the matching phrases and let students try to recite them.

Step 3　Grammar(3b～3c)
Work on 3b
1．Ask students to read and circle the correct words to complete the sentences in 3b.
2．Ask students to share their answers in class and the teacher helps to correct their mistakes if necessary.
(Students must read the complete sentences.)
Work on 3c
1．Ask students to fill in the blanks in 3c with proper be verbs.
T：Here is another exercise for you.Let's look at 3c.Complete the passage with am，is，or are.

Step 4　Speaking(3d)
1．Ask students to read the passage in 3c，observe and circle the personal pronouns and possessive pronouns.
2．Ask students to share their answers.
3．Ask students to discuss the usage and meaning of these pronouns and give examples.
(The teacher writes down the meaning and examples on the blackboard.)
Work on 3d
1．Students read the passage aloud in 3c after the teacher.Then use some words in the chart in 3d to make a new conversation.Students work with their partners and try to make a conversation.
T：Now please introduce one of your new friends to a partner.You can use the sentence patterns in the chart in 3d or the key points on the blackboard.You have three minutes.Go!
2．Ask some pairs to act out the dialogue in front of the class.
