Step 1 Lead in
1.Show students pictures of different places(a park,a farm,a yard,a garden…).
2.Show students a video about Fu Xing's grandpa's yard.And ask them to answer the question.

Step 2 Presentation & Speaking(1a~1b)
Work on 1a
1.Ask students to look at the picture in 1a and match the plants and animals with their names.
2.Ask students to share the answers and the teacher helps to correct their pronunciations if necessary.
Work on 1b
1.Ask students to work in pairs to introduce the things in the picture in 1a.

Step 4 Listening & Speaking(2c~2d)
Work on 2c
1.Play the recording for students and ask them to circle the correct answers.

2.Check the answers and ask students to correct their mistakes.
(Students must answer the questions with complete sentences.)
Work on 2d
Ask students to work in pairs and make up a new conversation to talk about the plants and animals in the picture in 1a.
T:We know the different animals and plants in Fu Xing's grandpa's yard.Please make a conversation to talk about the things in the yard.The picture in 1a will help you.
