3．Students are able to pronounce the 26 letters according to the alphabetical order and write the letters from Aa to Zz correctly.

2．Students are able to greet people in English，and understand the different meanings of different greeting terms，so as to use them flexibly.
Step 1　Lead in
1．Show a video of a dialogue of two new students greeting each other on their first school day.
T：Let's watch a video and find out how to say hello when we meet for the first time.
2．Make a summary about different greeting terms.

Step 2　Listening & Speaking(1a～1b)
1．Show pictures of seven students and introduce their names.
2．Ask students about their names to check if they remember.
T：Look at the boy.His name is Peter.Look at this girl.Her name is Helen…This term we will make friends with them.Do you remember their names
Ss：Yes.

Work on 1a
1．Ask students to look at the picture and match the names with the faces.
2．Show some English names on the blackboard and ask students to choose an English name for themselves.
Work on 1b
Ask students to greet their deskmates.
(The sentence patterns：Hello./Hi！/Good morning！My name is…)

Step 3　Work on(2a～2b)
Play the ABC songs.
T：Do you know the ABC songs？Now we are going to learn how to sing this song and learn to read the 26 letters.

Play the recording and ask students to read the 26 letters after the recording.
Work on 2b
1．Ask students to listen and circle the letters they hear in 2a.
2．Show students the right handwriting of the 26 letters.

Step 4　Listening & Speaking(2c～2d)
Work on 2c
1．Play the recording for students to listen and fill in the blanks with the correct sentences in the box.
2．Check the answers and play the recording again for students to repeat the conversations.
Work on 2d
Give students an example and ask students to work in pairs and make up a new conversation with the given sentence patterns.
【设计意图】通过听力练习，学生逐渐掌握听力技巧，并通过两两合作编对话的形式逐步提高听说能力。
Step 5　Summary
Game time.
T：Write down your English names on a piece of paper and put them in a bag.You can take out a piece of paper and find the owner.Then you greet each other with the sentence patterns we have learned today.

D．Hi，everyone!
