Step 1 Warming-up Make a speech before class as usual.Enjoy an English song “Have you ever ” by the band of Westlife and show the pic of Westlife.Step 2 Show and Checking the wordsAsk students “Where did you go last vacation ” and show different kinds of places. If some words are too long, students can spell it according to the pronunciation. 2. Check the words by a memory test.3. Students number the places in 1a and then make a survey in their group. A: Would you like to visit a space museum/history museum/--- B: I’d like--------Because---------Ask students which place you like best and why.(Justification: This step is to make a preparation for 1b.)Step 3 Listening(1b) 1. Read the two names: Claudia and Sarah.Let students Read the instruction of 1b.Play the tape for the first time for Ss to listen to the tape and check.Play again and let students follow and read.Step 4 Presentation and PracticePresent the conversation by the listening passage.
