Lushan National Park is in Jiangxi Province. It is more than 100 kilometres from Nanchang, the capital city of Jiangxi Province.
People go to Lushan National Park to see the tall mountains, lakes and beautiful streams. As it is a national park, much of the area is forest, so there are many animals. The fish and birds there are not dangerous, but there are some snakes. You mustn’t walk in the grass. Keep to the paths instead. That way, you are less likely to meet a snake.

There is another danger in Lushan National Park — people! People are a danger to the park because visitors to national parks can sometimes be very careless.
