4. 分析、辨别兴趣爱好的真正内涵，点出单元主题、引出单元学习目标。

(1) Have students review the Class 1, Grade 7 students’ hobbies according to Unit 1 and answer the following questions.

(2) Have students finish A on page 19.

4. Sharing hobbies
(1) Have students listen to Amy and Millie’s conversation and answer the following question.
What are their hobbies
Answer Millie loves reading and Amy likes swimming.
(2) Then have students read the conversation after the tape and answer two more questions.
Why does Millie like reading books
How often does Amy go swimming
Answer Because she can learn a lot from them. She goes swimming every week.
(3) Further thinking:

5. Introducing hobbies
(1) Have students work in pairs and talk about their friend’s/family member’s hobby according to the following structure.

(2) Ask some students to show their conversation to the class.
6. Show learning objectives
In this unit, we will read about some students’ hobbies; learn about after-school clubs at Sunshine Middle School; talk and write about our hobbies; think about why hobbies are important for us.

本板块的教学活动，首先让学生借助图片感知和理解各种各样的兴趣爱好，着重培养学生看的技能；再基于课本音频和对话，让他们获取和梳理他人的兴趣爱好，归纳和整理描述和评价兴趣爱好的核心语言；最后结合学生实际，交流和描述自己、家人、朋友的兴趣爱好并做简要评价，旨在引导学生认识兴趣爱好在同伴交往方面的重要性，实现由课内到课外的知识迁移，同时为单元的学习做好情感、话题和语言准备。
