Unit 5 Fun Clubs
Project (3a–3c)
【教学内容】
组建你自己的社团。
【核心素养】
1.学生能够思考并确定自己想要在学校成立的社团类型。
2.学生能够制作一张包含社团信息的海报，以吸引新成员。
3.学生能够通过采访同学，为自己的社团找到新成员。
【重点难点】
重点：制作海报并清晰传达社团信息。
难点：采访同学并有效吸引他们加入社团。
【教学过程】
Step 1 Lead- in
1. Greet students and ask about their interests and hobbies.
2. Present the topic“ Start your own club”.
Step 2 Work on 3a
Begin by asking students to brainstorm ideas about what clubs they enjoy or find interesting. Discuss the benefits of being in a club and how it can enhance learning experiences. Have students individually think of a club they would like to start in their school and jot down a few i- deas.
Step 3 Work on 3b
Explain the purpose and importance of a poster in attracting new club members. Show exam- ples of club posters and discuss the elements that make them effective (e. g. : clear heading, in- teresting images, concise information).
Ask students to design a poster for their chosen club, including the name, activities, meet- ing time and place, and contact information. Encourage students to use creativity and colour to make their posters stand out.
Step 4 Work on 3c
Provide students with an opportunity to present their posters to the class. Each student should briefly explain their club ideas and what they hope to achieve through it.
Provide students with time to conduct interview s with their classmates. Encourage students to be polite, respectful, and clear in communicating their club ideas and why they think it would be beneficial for others to join.
Colle ct names of potential new members and discuss how to proceed with recruitment.
Step 5 Summary and Homework
Summarize the project and congratulate students on their efforts.
Assign homework: Ask students to finalize their posters and prepare a brief presentation to introduce their clubs to a wider audience (e. g. : other classes or the school community).
