Unit 7 以 ‘What's the highest mountain in the world ’为话题，谈论自然和 地理。在此背景下学习较大数字的表达以及熟练运用形容词、副词比较级和最高 级。而此知识点在平时英语学习以及中考中尤为重要。本次课是一节阅读课，学 生在了解和学习珠峰，领会人类克服困难，挑战极限精神的同时、在文章中感知 形容词、副词比较结构对气氛烘托、营造珠峰巍峨气势起到的作用。同时为下一 课时语法教学做铺垫。3a 要求学生阅读后根据文章的描述匹配段落大意，培养 学生获取文章或段落大意的能力；3b 的活动引导学生关注细节，列举各段的要 点；3c 则是要求学生根据文章信息回答问题，进一步把握文章内容，了解珠穆 朗玛峰的有关信息。3a,3c活动设计主要是未来训练学生的寻读技能。
一、教学目标 【知识目标】

(1)掌握本部分出现的生词和词组，达到熟练运用的目标。
(2)正确使用形容词的比较等级。
(3)阅读短文，获得相关的信息。通过阅读练习，来提高阅读能力。 2 . 难点
(1)地名和人名词汇的正确朗读。
(2)阅读短文，获得相关信息的能力。
(3)理解并运用所学的比较等级去描述地理知识。 三、教学方法
任务型教学法、小组讨论法、游戏教学、启发性教学。 四、 教学准备多媒体、图片、视频、音频、教具等。

课后反思 (1)本次课以“世界最危险的山峰-珠穆朗玛峰”为话题，导入部分以视频 形式展现，更能吸引学生的兴趣，充分调动学生的学习积极性。 (2)能力提升环节，让学生利用本次课所学知识，采用小组交流的方式进 行探究性练习，效果较好。 (3)通过反复训练提高了学生的阅读理解能力，并让学生熟悉掌握了阅读 技巧同时也培养了学生的合作和不畏艰难险阻的精神。但是通过课后反思，本次 课还存在着不足之处： (1)本次课信息量大，新词汇多又难，句子冗长，阅读任务和语言学习的
任务较多，学生在做阅读分析的时候较吃力，所以在后续学习中应提供更多的词 句专练，以巩固新知。 (2)本节课应留出更多的时间给学生进行操练，没有顾忌到多数同学，尤 其的中等以下程度的同学。最后的输出环节，可设计更加开放性的活动让学生整 体得到提升。 (3)利用思维导图方式进行课文复述环节，可对学习程度中等及偏下的学 生减少复述的任务量，适当降低难度。 (4)作业设计应该具有层次性，这样才能适合所有程度的学生。如有必要， 可以留免检作业。
