四、阅读理解(本大题共15小题,每小题2分,共30分)
Nearly every parent says that we never grow up. In fact, we are maybe 16 or 17 years old. In their eyes, we are always little ones and always do wrong things. For example, when I need to stay at home alone, they always worry about me and my life without them.
Most parents always think that they have offered the best things to make their children live in a comfortable world. They buy their children pretty clothes, cool shoes, strange but expensive school things, and always a thousand-yuan-cost bike. They think that they have done everything they can do for their dear little children. In return, they only want their little ones to give them good grades in the exams.
Although parents have done what they could, their little babies still can’t understand them. Why Do they still want more material (物质的) things No! They just want a true family. What does a true family mean I think in a true family, we can hide ourselves from the outside cold world. From here, we can get warmth, and we can get happiness.
So I think that parents should save their money and sit down to talk with their children. And the child and his parents could understand each other better. Then, no boy will be a little boy any longer. That will be great help to both the parents and their child.

C.What children really want. D.Most children always do wrong things.
When you were a little child, you depended on your parents a lot. They used to make decisions about everything for you because you weren’t old enough to take care of yourself and make careful decisions. For example, they choose the clothes you wear, the food you should have and the after-school classes you should take. Finally, however, you grow up and become a teenager. You begin to have your own ideas and opinions about life. You want to make your own decisions.
As you change and grow into this new person who makes your own decisions, your parents may have a difficult time getting used to that. They only see you as a child. In most families, this can cause lots of arguments between teenagers and parents. You want to cover your walls with posters, but your parents don’t understand why you don’t like your wallpaper anymore. Then you feel your parents don’t respect you and don’t allow you to do what you like, and your parents get angry because they disagree with your decisions. And some other things—like the kind of friends you have—can cause even bigger arguments, because your parents will always be ready to protect you and keep you safe, no matter how old you are.
However, the good news is that there will be fewer arguments as your parents are aware that you have grown up and should have your own ideas. Before you get on very well with each other again, communication between you and your parents is very important.

60.What may be the best title for the passage
A.Learn to Make Good Decisions
B.Ways to Deal With Arguments in Your Everyday Life
C.Grow up and Stop Depending on Your Parents
D.Give Parents Time to Get Used to the New You
The evidence for harmony (和谐) may not be obvious (明显的) in some families. But it seems that four out of five young people now get on well with their parents, which is the opposite of the popularly held image (印象) of unhappy teenagers locked in their room after endless family quarrels (争吵).
An important new study into teenage attitudes surprisingly shows that their family life is more harmonious than it has ever been in the past. “We were surprised by just how positive today’s young people seem to be about their families,” said one member of the research team. “They’re expected to be rebellious (叛逆的) and selfish but actually they have other things on their minds; they want a car and material goods, and they worry if school is serving them well. There’s more negotiation (商议) and discussion between parents and children, and children expect to take part in the family decision-making process (过程). They don’t want to rock the boat.”
So it seems that this generation of parents is much more likely than parents of 30 years ago to treat their children as friends. “My parents are happy to discuss things with me and willing to listen to me,” says 17-years-old Daniel Lazall. “I always tell them when I’m going out clubbing. As long as they know what I’m doing, they’re fine with it.” Susan Crome, who is now 21, agrees. “Looking back on the last 10 years, there was a lot of what you could call negotiation. For example, as long as I’d done all my homework, I could go out on a Saturday night. But I think my grandparents were a lot stricter with my parents than that.”
Maybe this positive view of family life should not be unexpected. It is possible that the idea of teenagers rebellion is not rooted in real facts but a mistaken idea. A researcher comments, “Our surprise that teenagers say they get along well with their parents comes because of a brief (短暂的) period in out social history when teenagers were regarded as different beings. But that idea of rebelling and breaking away from their parents really only happened during that one time in the 1960s when everyone rebelled. The normal situation throughout history has been a smooth change from helping out with the family business to taking it over.”

A.They worry about school. B.They quarrel a lot with their parents.
C.They have to be locked in to avoid troubles. D.They get on well with their parents.

People say that family is the first school of life, and parents are a child’s first teachers. On Oct 23, the Law on Family Education Promotion (《家庭教育促进法》) was passed by the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress. It was carried out on January 1st, 2022.
The law says that parents should be responsible for family education. For example, the law (法律) stops parents from placing too much pressure on their children. Parents should carefully plan the time for their children to study, rest, play and exercise, and make sure they don’t spend too much time on the Internet.
Also, it says that society should provide guidance (指导), support and services for family education. In fact, more than 50 percent (百分比) of parents said they do not know how to educate (教育) their children, according to a survey by All-China Women’s Federation. The law encourages schools to make family education guidance and practice activities. Local governments are asked to help schools and families to better communicate with each other.
The law also gives special mention to children of migrant workers (外出务工人员) in rural areas. They may be alone when their parents have left to work in cities. It asks local governments to help the parents get jobs locally so that they can be responsible (负责的) for their children’s education.

How to get along well with our parents is a lesson that we must learn.
I have some hobbies. I always enjoy music. Once I failed my exams and my parents were so angry that they didn’t allow me to play the piano any more. I didn’t know what to do at first. After calming down, I promised my parents that I would manage my time well so that I could keep a balance between my study and my hobbies. As a result, we made a deal and apologized to each other.
As we know, it’s normal to have problems with our parents. We should learn some ways to solve them. Here are my suggestions.
Firstly, try to calm down if you are arguing with your parents. Secondly, try to learn some communication skills and talk about your feelings with them. All in all, it’s important for us to talk about our difficulties with our parents. In these ways, we can have a happy and peaceful family.
