Writing a description of a Chinese language course, using prompts.单元 内容 The topic of M8 is Time off(travelling and holiday). With the development of our society, the level of our daily life has improved a lot. Travelling has become an important part of our life in our free time. As a result, travelling and holiday become a hot topic and come into students’ lesson. M8 aims to inspire students’ love for nature and raise their awareness of protecting the environment. The conversation in Unit1 show us real scene about traveling around the Bei Hai park. Lingling is a guide. She shows Tony and Daming around the Bei Hai Park and gives them a simple introduction of it. During the visiting, Tony give his comments for the park, express his opinion on Daming’s suggestion. When they talk about the park, they used the subject clauses naturally with that. It is the main grammar for M8. Unit2 is an Email from Betty to her parents. The Email is mainly about her travelling experience in Zhangjiajie Forest Park. The beginning leads to the topic directly. It is easy to get understand the purpose o the email. The structure of passage in very clear. Para1 tells us the basic information about Zhangjiajie: location, size, and places of interest and special tourist point. Para2-5 show us her travelling routine: the experience of yesterday, the experience of this morning, and tomorrow’s plan. The writing style is a little different from Chinese writing. The logical writing is easy to understand. She introduce the forest from her own point is closer to readers. English writing pays more attention to logic and feelings.学情 分析 My students are rural students. Many of them are left-behind students. They spend more time on the computer instead of travelling out. However, with the development of the society, some parents tried their best to take kids to go travelling. However, they find both of them can’t enjoy themselves together sometime. Because they didn’t learn some basic information before travelling. Thus, travelling didn’t help them to relax them from study nor learn about the world. Through M6, I hope I can help them inspire their love for nature, help them develop a pair of eyes to find beauty around herself. The task of M6 is practical and meaningful. First, ask my students to write a leaflet for a trip, drive them to go into the nature. Then, help them to know more about their hometown and help them to find the beauty around themselves, in the nature. Nature is a great classroom. Everyone can learn something from the nature.
