单元内容 Topic: Photos The first unit is a listening and speaking lesson. The text is a discussion about the photography competition. It shows the use of attributive clauses by talking about the relevant information of the photography competition. The dialogue introduces the awards of last year's competition and the basic situation of this year's competition. Teachers can ask students to have a group discussion on the four topics of the photography competition, express their views, and exercise their language expression skills. The second unit is a reading and writing lesson. The text introduced the four winners of this year's photography competition, and introduced their winning photos and reasons for winning. In this way, students learn how to describe photos, and learn the attributive clauses guided by which and who, so that students can more easily accept and understand the grammar item.
学情分析 After two years of systematic learning in junior middle school, the ninth grade students have mastered relatively mature methods and strategies in English learning. This module focuses on the attributive clause guided by who and which. In the tenth module, students have been exposed to the attributive clause guided by that and can understand the definition of attributive clause and the use of the relative pronoun that, so they are not unfamiliar with the grammatical point of attributive clause. However, some students are still vague about the distinction between attributive clauses and object clauses. In addition, attributive clauses are the last important grammar that students learn in junior high school, and they are easily confused with object clauses learned in eighth grade. Although there is the foundation of the tenth module learned before, due to the long sentences in the text, attributive clauses are still difficult for some students to understand. Therefore, on the premise of laying emphasis on the consolidation of basic knowledge, further inspiration and guidance from teachers are needed to help students accurately understand and use the attributive clause guided by which and who. Fortunately, the theme of "Photos" in this module is relatively close to students' life, and students have great initiative in learning and high interest, which is easy to carry out the whole learning process.
