教学课题: Module 5 Unit 2 Can Sam play football
一、教学分析
1.学情分析：学生在经过本模块第一单元的学习,已掌握Can you...的肯定、否定应答句,且本单元中出现的词及短语 swim,fly a kite,skate,ride a bike,play football,play basketball已在此前学习过,再复现学习时,难度较小,学起来较轻松。
2.教材分析:本单元话题为谈论他人的能力,并能够学会如何简单形容人物特征。二、教学目标
1.知识目标:
（1）90%的学生能听懂、会说、会读、会写词汇star, strong;
（2）90%的学生能听懂、会读、会说句型:Can he/she -Yes,he/she can.
No,he/she can’t.
技能目标:
（1）能听懂Can he/she play football/ basketball 并用Yes,he/she can.或No,he/she can’t回答;
（2）能够用“can”谈论他人的能力。
3.情感目标:
（1）激发学生学习英语的兴趣,调动学生学习的积极性；
（2）营造轻松、和谐、民主的学习氛围,增进教师和学生的感倩,鼓励学生大胆发言并展示自己的才能。
4.素养提升:足球运动是世界上最具影响力的体育运动之一,被誉为“世界第一运动”。足球运动最早起源于中国古代的一种叫作“蹴鞠”的球类游戏，后来传到欧洲，发展成现代足球。(英国人称足球为football,美国人称足球为soccer)。
三、教学重点
1.本单元新词star,strong及形容人物的特征；
2.使用Can谈论他人能力,并能够根据人称的不同恰当应答。
四、教学难点
1.Strong的发音；
2.形容他人外貌或特征时,be动词的选用。(I+am,三单+is,其他人称+are)
