例：be, he。

(开音节)
由一个单独发音的元音字母后没有辅音字母组成。 例：be, he，hi。
由一个单独元音字母后加大于或等于一个的辅音字母（不包括r)再加一个不发音的字母e组成。例：make，like。
绝对开音节
相对开音节
闭音节指的是以辅音字母（r,w,y除外）结尾，而中间只有一个元音音素的音节。
例：meet, bag, pet, sit, fox, bus等。

音节是由音素（包括辅音和元音）组合发音的语音单位。
英文单词，每含有一个元音音素，就有一个音节。
含有一个音节，叫单音节词；
含有两个音节叫双音节词；
含有三个音节及以上的音节叫多音节词。
Syllable(音节)
在双音节或多音节中有一个发音特别响亮的音节，叫重读音节，用重音符号“＇”标于重读音节的前面，其他音节为非重读音节。
所有的单音节词都需要重读，但不标重音符号。
