教学 目标 1. Knowledge objectives Students are able to understand and correctly use the simple present tense form of the be verb (am, is, are). Students can master the combination of personal pronouns (I, you, he, she, it, we, they) and be verbs. 2. Skill objectives Students are able to use the correct form of be verbs to describe the state of themselves, others or things. Students are able to accurately use be verbs for simple sentence construction in verbal and written expressions. 3. Emotional goals Cultivate students' interest in actively participating in classroom activities and the spirit of cooperative learning. Enhance the students' confidence in learning English, and encourage them to speak English boldly.
教学重难点 1. Teaching focus Master the usage of the be verb (am, is, are) in different people. Be able to use be verbs to describe the state of people or things. 2. Teaching difficulties Understand the variation law of be verb in different people and numbers. Can flexibly use be verbs in the practical context to avoid grammatical errors.
教学过程 1. Lead-in The use of be verbs is induced by playing an English video containing an introduction of different characters. Ask the students what sentences they heard about the character introduction in the video, and guide the students to pay attention to the form of be verb. 2. Presentation (Presentation) Show some pictures with characters or objects, along with simple description sentences, such as: I am a student. He is tall. They are happy. Guide the students to observe the relationship between the usage of the be verb and the person in the sentence. Explain the combination of be verbs (am, is, are) and person pronouns (I, you, he, she, it, we, they): Iam...; You are...; He / She / Itis...; We / They are... Let the students imitate the sentences and consolidate the usage of be verb. 3. Practice exercises (Practice) Give some blank questions, let the students choose the correct form of be verb according to the personal pronouns given, such as: I (am / is / are) happy. She (am / is / are) a teacher. We (am / is / are) friends. Organize the students to conduct group activities, and let the students use each other with be verbs to describe their characteristics or status, such as: A: You are nice. B: Thank you. You are kind. Ask several groups of students to come on stage to show their dialogue, and other students to evaluate and correct them. 4. Consolidate (Consolidation) Let the students complete a short article to fill in the blanks, the short article mainly describes the students in the class, need to use the correct form of be verb. Guide the students to analyze and discuss the passage, and summarize the usage rules of be verbs in the text. 5. Summary (Summary) Review the rules of be verb (am, is, are) and personal pronoun with students, emphasizing emphasis and error points. Job assignment (Homework) Let the students write a short essay about their family members in be verb, no less than 5 plete the relevant grammar exercises used in the textbook.
