Task1. Lead-in Activity1.Greeting: Hello,everyone! Activity2.Watch a video and sing together to arouse students’ interest. Task2. Preparation Activity1: Scenario The teacher starts the lesson by holding a large, colorful box. The box has 4 main colours on it: red, green, blue, and yellow. T:" Today, I brought something special! Inside this box are some magical objects... but these objects can only be unlocked if we say the right colour words. Are you ready to see what's inside Let's begin by learning how these colours can talk to us!” Task3.Presentation （1）Words Learning Students will look at these colours one by one and understand their meanings. Show pictures of objects of different colours and ask students to name the colours.) Red is a very powerful color. It can make us think of danger, like a stop sign. Green is the colour of nature.(绿色) Blue is the colour of the sky and the ocean.（蓝色） Yellow is a bright and cheerful colour.（黄色） Orange is a bright and energetic colour.（橙色） White is pure and clean.（白色） Purple is a colour of royalty and magic.（紫色） Brown is the colour of the earth.（棕色） Pink is such a sweet and lovely colour.（粉色） Black is often associated with mystery and elegance.（黑色） (2)Sentence Learning Teacher will ask students a question: what colours do you like A girl is sharing colours she likes with her friends. Let’s go and see what they are talking about! Play the video of Let’s talk. Students will look and try to read after the talking. Show the sentences on the blackboard or PPT: “What colours do you like I like red and pink.” Read the sentences, explain meanings and ask the students to repeat. （3）Colours are useful! What can colours do in our life Play the tape of Let’s learn, students will read the colour words according to the pictures. Pink -- the colour of nurse Orange-- the colour of fireman Red-- the colour of car White and black-- the colour of piano T: Colour is useful, we can see colour everywhere! Task4. Production Activity1. Colour Guessing Game Look at this beautiful park. All the colours are gone! Can you guess what colour the flowers should be Students will match colours with objects to make the park to be colorful. Teacher: "We have three colours here: red, yellow, and blue. And we have three things: an apple, a banana, and the sky. Now, let’s think. What colour is the apple " Activity2. Introduce each colour with its usage through story telling. Colour Mixing Game: On the board or screen, the teacher draws different combinations of colours and asks students to guess the results. T: "Now let’s see what happens when colours mix. What do you think happens when we mix red and yellow Yes, we get orange! How about blue and red Great, it’s purple!" Task5.Summary Summarize the key points of the lesson, emphasizing the importance of colours in our lives and the sentence pattern "What colours do you like I like...". Encourage students to find and appreciate the colours around them. Task6. Homework Basic Type: Students say the colour words they learned today to their families after returning home and have a simple conversation with their families using the sentence pattern "What colours do you like I like...", for example, "What colours do you like, Mum I like blue." Extension Type: Students find three things of different colours, and talk about the colours, like "I see a red apple, a green tree and a blue sky." Thinking Type: Imagine what the world would be like if there was only one colour, and then tell their thoughts to their families.
