How I Learned to Learn English (略)
原文翻译：
去年，我不喜欢上我的英语课。每节英语课都像做恶梦一样。英语老师讲得如此快以致于我大部份时间都像听天书一样。因为我不熟练的发音导致我害怕问问题。我只能躲在课本后面，不敢讲任何话。
后来某天我看了一部叫作《玩具总动员》的电影，我喜欢上了这部不但激动人心而且又滑稽有趣的电影！就这样，我也开始看其它的英文电影。虽然无法听懂（电影中的）那些角色所说的全部内容，但他们的肢体语言和面部表情帮助我理解了意思。我还意识到我可以通过只听关健的词句来意会电影内容。通过听英语电影中的对话，我的发音也变得比以前好多了。我发现听一些有趣的内容是学习语言的秘诀。我学会了像“这简直是小菜一碟”和“你活该”这样的有用的句子。我刚开始不太理解这些句子意思，但是因为我想了解这个故事，所以我去查了词典。
现在我真的非常喜欢上我的英语课了。我想要去学习生词词组和语法，那样我就比以前更能看得懂英文电影里面所讲的故事内容了。

如：She ‘s afraid of going out alone at night.

fall in love with sth .
表示“喜欢上某物“，此处的love 指”喜欢；喜爱“。Fall in love with sb .表示”爱上某人“此处的love 指”恋爱，爱情“。

是一个副词词组，意为“也，还“。

the secret to (doing) sth.
表示“做某事的秘诀“。其中secret作名词，意为秘密 秘诀，且要注意此结构中to是介词，所以其后接动词时必须用-ing 形式。
look up
此表示在词典，参考书中查阅。它是一个动词+副词构成的短语。当其宾语是代词时，代词只能放在look 与up之间。当其宾语是名词时，名词既可放在look与up之间，也可放在up之后。
