Step 1: Lead in 导入
Free talk. 自由讨论
T: If you have a chance to travel abroad, what will you do What local products will you buy
Japan: a camera, kimonos, sushi.
Switzerland: a watch, chocolate, knives.
France: wine, perfume, clothes.
America: turkey, shoes, mobile phones.
Step 2: Pre-reading 读前
Show a picture of a American flag that was made in China. 展示一幅在中国制造的美国国旗的图片。
Make prediction 做出预测。
T: Does he want to buy Chinese products or American ones
Is it easy for him to buy American products
Step 3: While reading 读中
Careful reading仔细阅读
Read paragraph 1 and fill in the blanks.
Read paragraph 1 again and work out what the pronouns refer to.(3c)
Read paragraph 2 and fill in the blanks.
Work on 3b.
Step 4: Post-reading 读后
Retell the passage. 复述文章
China makes progress in different high-technology fields. ( Play a video.)中国在不同的高科技领域都取得了进步。
Step 5: Summary 总结
We should move from “Made in China” to “Created in China”, from “China speed” to “China quality” and from “Chinese products” to “Chinese brands”. 我们应该从“中国制造”到“中国创造”，从“中国速度”到“中国品质”，从“中国产品”到“中国品牌”。
Step 6: Homework
Read the passage several times after class and retell it. 下课后读几遍，并且复述。
Try to find more products of high quality in China.试着在中国找到更多的优质产品。
Make sentences with these words: no matter, be made in, find it + adj. that…, even though, avoid doing sth., everyday things. 用这些词来造句。
