1.学生能够在谈论天气的情境中,运用单词hot,cold,句型It’s… today. 来表述天气。 2.学生能够在图片的提示下,根据天气情况,使用Shall we… Let’s… Can I …, please 句型提出合理的建议和请求。 3.使学生能够通过联系朋友和查询天气的形式,了解祖国的辽阔,不同地区有着不同的天气。并初步感知天气对人们日常活动的影响。
教学重难点
教学重点: 1. 运用单词hot,cold,句型It’s… today. 来表述天气。
教学难点: 1. 综合运用所学语言简单谈论天气,并根据天气情况,使用Shall we… Let’s… Can I …, please 句型提出合理的活动建议。
教学过程
Step1 Warm-up (热身导入) Listen to the weather song, and try to sing along. Step2 Presentation (学习理解) 1. Look at the picture and think about the question “How’s the weather today ” 2. Watch the video and find out the answer “It’s hot today.” 3. Read and spell the new word “H-O-T, hot.” 4. Do the pattern drills. Answer the questions according to the pictures. “How’s the weather today ” “It’s hot today.” Look at the picture and think about the question “What does Gao Wei want to do Find out the answer “Go swimming.” from the picture of swimming ring. Learn the use of “Shall we ... ” Watch the video and think about the question “What does Gao Wei want to drink ” Find out the answer “Some cold water.” Read and spell the new word “cold.” (Tips: old--cold) Step3 Practice (应用实践) 1. Watch the dialogue Demo, and do the pattern drills. Ask and answer by using the sentences “Can I ...,please ” “Here you are.” “Thank you.” 2. Read the dialogue after the recorder. 3. Make up a new dialogue by using the pictures and sentences. Step4 Production (迁移创新) 1. Get wechat messages from Gao Wei’s friends: Amy and Bob. 2. Make voice calls with them, and ask about the weather and activities there. “Where is ... ” “I’m in ...” “How’s the weather there ” “It’s ...today.” “What will he/she do ” “ ...” Amy: Sanya, hot, go swimming Bob: Antarctic, cold, look at penguins 3. Chant. Cold weather, hot weather, which do you like 4. Check the weather around China, and try to make a travel plan. 5. Look at the map of China, talk about the weather and activities of these places. And finish the sentences “It’s____ today.” “Shall we______ ” Sanya: hot, go swimming Hailin: cold, go skiing Kunming:warm,go boating Weifang: cool, fly kites 6. Watch the Demo, and try to make a short travel plan according to the pictures and sentences “I like ______ weather. Because _______________. I want to go to __________. I can ___________. Step5 Summary Sum up the main sentence patterns and words. Step6 Homework Need to do: 1. Listen to the recorder and read after it. 2. Complete the sentences according to the pictures.
