教学重难点
教学重点： 学生通过本课的学习，能够理解课文，并掌握本课重点语句。 教学难点： 在真实生活中，学生可以运用本课所学目标语言，与他人进行交流。
教学过程
I. Warming up （2 minutes） Introduction & Pictures Boys and girls, I am your new friend, Miss Yu. Today, I’m your English teacher. Before our class, I’ll show you some pictures.Let’s enjoy. Observation & Think A : Three questions: In good pictures, you can see something, hear something, and smell something. So,what can you see in these pictures What can you hear and what can you smell in the pictures B: Eg: I can see (a farm)... I can hear (cattle mooing)... I can smell (the grass)... After observing, what do you think of the farm I think the farm is big. It’s very very big. You can also say “What a big farm!” to express your feeling. So let’s practice: What a nice farm!/ What a beautiful farm! C: Do you want to know more about this big , nice and beautiful farm Let’s listen to the tape and go into it. II. Presentation （8 minutes） Learn the new words. (Watch & Learn) After listening to the tape, can you tell me what animals are on the farm (Pictures) Yes, we can see horses. horses h-o-r-s-e-s horses If there is only one, we can say : a horse a horse We can also see cows. cows c-o-w-s cows If there is only one, we can say : a cow a cow Practise the new words. (Games) The name of the game is “ What Letter ” A: What letter is in farm but not in from ---- It is the letter a. B: What letter is in horses but not in houses ---- It is the letter r. C: What letter is in woe(麻烦) but not in cow ---- It is the letter e. The letters “a” “r” “e” can make up a word. That is “are”. Learn the sentences. A: What are these in English (Read & Circle) Can you find the sentence with the word “are” in L34 Please read the text and circle it. Read after me: What are these in English But how to answer this question, do you know They’ re... B: They’re ... ( Compare & Answer) What are these in English (pictures) They’re horses. And what’s this in English(pictures) It’s a horse. How about this one What’s this in English (pictures) It’s a cow. And what are these in English (pictures) They are cows. C: Venn Diagram (Think & Choose) The same and differences between these and this these this horses cow They’re... It’s... the thing(things) near you the thing(things) far from you Practise the sentences. (Guessing Game) Let’s play a guessing game. I’ll show you two pictures, please guess what animals they are and use the sentence structure to ask and answer. A: The first picture: (Think & Write) A: What are these in English B: They’re cats. B: The second picture: (Think & Write & Make up a dialogue) A: What are these in English B: They’re dogs. III. Practice （5 minutes） Read the dialogue and fill in the blanks . Continue writing the dialogue. Choose one picture. Fill in the blanks. Continue writing the dialogue. ( plus new materials) We often get in touch with animals in our daily life. We meet them in the zoo, at the pet shop or in your neighbourhood. I have three questions for you. Do you love them What can they do for us What can you do for them Think it over and write your answers in your dialogue. A: Look here! What are _____ in English B: They're ______. Moral Education From today’s lesson, we learn about some animals. Animals are our friends. Some animals can work for us, such as horses and camels. Some animals can give us help, such as dogs and pigeons. And some animals can share our happiness or sadness, such as cats and rabbits. So stop hunting for them and protect them. Only if we save them well can we have a bright future! IV Homework: One star: Read the dialogue fluently. Two stars:Try to finish your new dialogue and act it out. Three stars:Finish the short essay on the homework paper.
