教学重难点 1. 教学重点 重点单词:wake, seldom, exercise, activity, homework, never 等。 重点短语:get up, have breakfast/lunch/dinner, go to bed, do morning exercises 等。 重点句型:I seldom go out. I always have fun at school. 2. 教学难点 频率副词的正确使用。 一般现在时中第三人称单数的动词变化形式。
教学过程
(一)Warming-up (5 分钟) 1. Greetings Say hello to the students and have a free talk about their school days. 2. Review Show some pictures related to school activities and ask students to name them in English. For example, show a picture of students doing morning exercises and ask "What are they doing " Students should answer "They are doing morning exercises." (二)Presentation (15 分钟) 1. Vocabulary Present the new words and phrases of this unit on the PPT, such as "wake", "seldom", "exercise", "activity", "homework", "never", "get up", "have breakfast/lunch/dinner", "go to bed", "do morning exercises". Explain their meanings and pronunciations. Ask students to read the words and phrases after the teacher several times. Do some word games to help students remember the new words, such as word matching and word guessing. 2. Grammar Explain the usage of frequency adverbs (always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, never) and the verb forms in the simple present tense. For example, "He always gets up early. She seldom does her homework at night." Give some examples and ask students to make sentences with the frequency adverbs and the correct verb forms. Do some grammar exercises on the PPT to consolidate the grammar knowledge. (三)Practice (15 分钟) 1. Listening Play the listening material of this unit and ask students to listen carefully and answer the questions. Check the answers and play the listening material again if necessary. 2. Reading Ask students to read the text of this unit loudly and pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. Guide students to understand the main idea of the text and answer some questions about it. Do some reading comprehension exercises to improve students' reading skills. (四)Production (15 分钟) 1. Group discussion Divide the students into groups of four and ask them to discuss their school days. They can talk about their daily routines, favorite subjects, after-school activities, etc. Each group should choose a representative to present their discussion results to the class. 2. Writing Ask students to write a short passage about their school days. They should use the words, phrases and sentence structures they have learned in this unit. Provide some writing tips and guidance for students. Collect students' writings and give some feedback and comments. (五)Summary (5 分钟) 1. Summarize the key points of this unit, including the new words, phrases, grammar and the topic of school days. 2. Encourage students to review and practice what they have learned after class. (六)Homework (5 分钟) 1. Review the words, phrases and grammar of this unit. 2. Finish the exercises in the workbook. 3. Write a diary about your school day.
教学反思 通过本单元的教学,学生对学校生活的相关词汇、句型和语法有了较好的掌握,能够用英语描述自己的学校生活。在教学过程中,通过创设情景、小组讨论等活动,激发了学生的学习兴趣和积极性,提高了学生的语言运用能力。但在教学中也发现了一些问题,如部分学生对频率副词的使用还不够熟练,在今后的教学中应加强针对性的练习和指导。
