教学过程
Step 1: Warm-up (5 minutes) 1. Greet the students and have a free talk about their recent school days. 2. Show some pictures related to school activities and ask students to name them in English. Step 2: Vocabulary Review (10 minutes) 1. Display a word cloud with the key vocabulary of this unit on the screen. Ask students to recall and say the words aloud. 2. Play a vocabulary game: "Word Bingo". Give students some words and they need to mark them on their bingo cards when they hear them. Step 3: Grammar Review (15 minutes) 1. Present some sentences using present simple tense and ask students to identify the subjects, verbs and time expressions. 2. Do some grammar exercises on the blackboard or worksheets to reinforce the usage of present simple tense. 3. Have students correct the mistakes in given sentences if any. Step 4: Reading Assessment (15 minutes) 1. Distribute a reading passage about a student's school day. Ask students to read it silently and answer the following questions: What subjects does the student have When does the student have lunch What activities does the student do after school 2. Check the answers together and explain any difficult points in the passage. Step 5: Listening Assessment (10 minutes) 1. Play an audio recording about a school schedule. Students need to listen carefully and fill in the blanks on the worksheet. 2. Play the recording twice if necessary. Then check the answers and correct any misunderstandings. Step 6: Writing Assessment (20 minutes) 1. Ask students to write a short passage about their own school day, including the subjects they have, their favorite lessons and activities, and their after-school plans. 2. Provide some useful expressions and sentence structures on the blackboard to help them. 3. After writing, have students exchange their passages with their partners for peer review. Step 7: Summary and Homework (5 minutes) 1. Summarize the main points of this assessment lesson and praise the students' performance. 2. Assign homework: Ask students to revise their written passages and prepare for the next unit. VII.
