一、板块定位
本单元的话题是“我们的学校,属于“人与自我”主题范畴下的“生活与学
习”主题群中“多彩、安全、有意义的学校生活”子主题。涉及的语篇内容有图
片、音频、对话、视频脚本、电子邮件、表格等。本单元的教学旨在帮助学生了
解融入新校园,增进对学校的感情,享受多彩、安全、有意义的校园生活。
Grammar 板块围绕单元话题,以向同伴、家人介绍自己的新学校为情境,引
导学生在语境中观察含有人称代词的句子,从形式、意义、用法三个维度理解人
称代词,归纳其语法规则,并使用人称代词谈论自己的新学校、新老师和新同学,
体验校园生活带来的快乐。具体来说,本版块首先呈现了 Jack Liu 介绍阳光中学
的老师的语篇,引导学生观察其中的人称代词的主格和宾格形式,自主归纳其使
用规则;再设置对话语篇,指导学生在语境中运用人称代词,巩固所学内容,内
化新知;最后设置开放性活动,鼓励学生使用正确的人称代词介绍新学校、新老
师、新同学,并和同学谈论学校活动。
二、教学目标
通过本课时的学习,学生能够:
1 在谈论学校老师的情境中感知人称代词的基本特征,区分其主格和宾格形式并
了解其使用规则;
2 借助对话语篇的操练,理解和描述人称代词的主格和宾格所表达的意义,并
巩固和内化其使用规则;
3 简要了解“主谓宾”结构及简单规则;
3 在向他人介绍学校时恰当使用人称代词的主格和宾格,加深对新学校、新老
师及新同学的了解,增强对学校的认同感。
三、教学设计
Step 1. Revision
1 Have students fill sentences about introducing themselves, students in Sunshine
Middle School and Sunshine Middle School

设计意图:结合 U1-3 单元的自我介绍、介绍他人、介绍学校引出主题-代词,增
强学生自信,激发学习兴趣。
Step 2: Form and meaning
Have students answer the following questions.
(1) What do “I”, “he”, “she”, “they” “it” and “you” stand for
(2) What are “I”, “he”, “she”, “they” “it” and “you”

(1) “I” stands for the student who is speaking.
“He” stands for Jack Liu.
“She” stands for Millie.
“It” stands for Sunshine Middles School.
“They” and “them” stand for Daniel, Simon and Sandy.
(2) Personal pronouns.
2. Have students read two groups of sentences and rewrite the second sentences in
each group and answer the questions.

2. We use personal pronouns replaces nouns for people and things to “”avoid

Step 3: Use
1. Have students read Jack Liu’s introduction on page 35 and find out the personal
pronouns and answer the question.
(1) Where are the personal pronouns in sentences
(2) What is the function of the personal pronouns in sentences
(3) What about their forms
Possible answer
(1) They are at the beginning of the sentences. / They are before verbs.
(2) They work as subjects.
(3) They are in subject form.
2.Have students fill the table, work out the rule on page 35 and finish Part A1 on Page
35.

3. Have students think about what is special about the personal pronoun “them” in

Then have students read more of Jack Liu’s introduction on page 36 and find out the

Which personal pronouns are special
Answer
Object
The pronoun "you" is special. It can be both a subject and object pronoun. It can also
be both a singular and plural pronoun.
The pronoun “it" is also special. it can be both a subject and object pronoun.
4 Have students read the sentence “I love you” and understand the structure by giving
explanations and showing pictures.
5 Have students finish Part B1 on Page 35 and answer the questions.

Step 4: Practice
1 Have students play a guessing game using personal pronouns.

2 Have students talk about their wonderful school, classmates or teachers with the
subject form and the object form of personal pronouns.
Possible answer
I often chat with my friends during break time. We talk about music, and sometimes
we play games together, Li Ming and Yang Yang are my good friends. They are
deskmates. They like playing chess at noon. li Ming is good at basketball. He often
plays basketball after school. Yang Yang is good at English. She often helps Li Ming
with his English.
At our new school, we have a modern library and some classroom buildings. Our
teachers are friendly. They teach us many interesting subjects. They help us learn
more about the world. We like them and listen carefully in class. My friends at school
are kind. We play together during breaks and help each other with our homework.
They make school enjoyable. My teachers and friends support me when I need help. It
is exciting for us to study at our school.
设计意图:鼓励学生通过谈论自己参与的校园活动及身边的老师和同学,进一
步在真实情境中运用人称代词,实现“形式一意义一使用”的统一。
