1.plan ① [及物动词]计划，打算
plan to dosth. 计划／打算做某事
I am planning to travel from London to Amsterdam. 我正打算从伦敦到阿姆斯特丹旅行。
② [可数名词］计划
make a plan(for……) (为……)制订计划
They made a new plan for the travel.
他们制订了旅行新计划。
2.book ① [及物动词］预订
其宾语多是 ticket, room, hotel 等词。
Book your ticket before you book hotel.在你定酒店之前先定车（船）票。
Did you book the return train ticket
你预订返程火车票了吗？
②[可数名词]书
She likes reading books.她喜欢读书。
3.however（副词）然而；但是，表示转折，位于句首时其后要用逗号隔开；位于句中时其前后都要用逗号隔开。
However, last summer, David went to another city because of his father's job.然而，去年夏天，戴维因为父亲的工作去了另一个城市。

5. the second cheapest 第二便宜的
the+序数词＋形容词最高级 “第几最······的”
The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.
黄河是中国的第二长河。
6.辨析：because of 与 because
①because of 短语，介词of后常接名词、代词或动词－ing形式作宾语
②because 连词，后接句子，表示直接而明确的原因或理由；可用来回答以why开头的问句
We waited for hours at the airport because of bad weather.因为恶劣天气我们在机场等了好几个小时。
He didn't attend the meeting because he had too much work to do. 因为他有太多的工作要做，所以他没有参加议。
