教学目标

Thinking quality: 1.Draw a dream farm and describe the vegetables and animals with the sentence pattern the students learned. 2.Understand the main idea of the passage. Cultural awareness: Knowing about the vegetables and animals on the farm, exercise the students’ practical ability of labor and enhance their cultural character of loving animals and life. 教学重难点
Teaching key points: Listen ,speak ,recognize and read the words: horse, cow, sheep and hen, and use their plural forms to describe the farm animals in the context. 教学过程
Step 1:Lead in Revision (1)Show a man called Mr. MacDonald, ask the Ss to guess who he is. T:Through learning last class, we know he has a farm. (2)Show the vegetables on the farm, and then ask “What are these/those ” Ss introduce the vegetables on the farm with the sentence pattern learned last lesson. Show a task (1)T: Mr. MacDonald not only has the vegetable garden, but also has a lot of animals. Listen to the song 《Old MacDonald has a farm》and let’s go into his farm. 视频来自于教材自带影音 (2) T:Look !There are so many animals on his farm. He is too busy. So he needs some students to help him. In this lesson we will choose some farm volunteers . The students who get more stars can go to his farm . 设计意图:复习旧知,导入本课,巩固句型,为本课介绍动物做铺垫。“歌曲导入,让学生在轻松愉快中开始本课,出示情境任务——选拔农场志愿者,以任务贯穿本节课,充分调动了学生学习英语的积极性。 Step 2:Presentation (一)Learn the words T: Let’s guess. 1.horse (1)1.Show the puzzle of the horse, and then let the Ss guess what it is. (2)Let the Ss listen to the recording ,and read the word . Let Ss pay attention to the pronunciation of “or”. (3)T: Cool. So many horses. We can say : These are horses. (4 ) Count the horses one by one to let more students practice its plural form. 2.cow (1)Listen to the sound moo , and let the Ss guess what it is. (2)Show how to teach the pronunciation of cow. (3)Encourage the Ss to talk about the cows . e.g. These are cows. They are big. They are black and white. They are so cute. 3.sheep (1)Show the video of the sheep and let the Ss guess what it is . (2)Let Ss pay attention to the pronunciation of or “sh” and “ee”. (3)Let the Ss count the number of the sheep and emphasize the plural form which is the same as the single form. 4. hen (1)Show a picture of a duck some picture of some ducks To teach “Those are ducks” . (2)Show a sound and let Ss guess “What are those Those are hens”. (3)Listen and imitate “hens”. (4)Spell the words “hens”. 5.Listen and repeat (1) Listen to the part of “Let’s learn”. Say the words and sentences with the speakers. (3)Listen and guess: S1:What are these/those S2: They are____. 设计意图:单词教学以图片,情境教学为主,从音、词、义、形,复数及句子运用多个维度进行操练,游戏形式巩固单词,对吸引学生的注意力有极大的促进作用。 (二)Watch and talk 1.watch the video and answer questions 1.Q1:What are those 2.Watch the video and answer the questions Q2: How many horses does Mr. MacDonald have 3.Listen and imitate Listen carefully again and imitate the rising and falling tone of the sentence. T:Wow! On the farm, there are so many animals. I can’t count clearly. We can use many. We can also say a lot of or lots of. 设计意图:听课文前,提出预测问题,让学生带着问题去听课文。让学生有目的性去听录音,有利于学生捕捉信息。通过图片讲解a lot of 用法,有利于学生对知识点的理解。 Step 3 Practice 1.Play and guess T:Six students make up a group. Work in groups to play the animals. You can add some sounds of the animals to play. Others guess what they are. S1:What are those S2: Are they horses S3: Yes, they are. T: all of you make good performance .You play the animals very well. Give you a star. You’re suitable to be a farm volunteer. 设计意图:以动物表演为主线,为学生创设交际情境。小组合作完成表演任务,增强了同学之间团结合作的能力。 Step 4 Consolidation 设计意图:同桌合作,练习对话,巩固学生对知识点的的掌握和语言运用能力。 (二)Draw and write T:It’s time to show your ability of drawing and writing .Now design your dream farm. Draw some vegetables and animals on your farm, and introduce them like this. e.g. This is my farm. It is big. These are cows .They are cute. These are tomatoes. They are yellow. These are horses. They like to eat grass. T:Who gets the most stars, you can be a farm volunteer. 设计意图:通过设计自己的梦想农场,让学生绘画动物和蔬菜,以及用学过的词语介绍他们,提高了学生的英语语言表达能力。书写时引导学生规范书写,让学生养成了良好的书写习惯。 Step5:Summary T:What did we learn in this lesson We learned the words about the animals . T: In our life, there are many animals who are helping and accompany us. They are our friends . We should take good care of them and try our best to protect them. Now. who has the most stars You are a farm volunteer now. Step:6 Homework This is the homework ,which includes two parts. According to your own ability ,choose some homework to do. Need to do: 1.Intoduce your favorite animals to your friends. 2.Tell your parents what animals we learned in this class. You can also tell them the sound of the animals in English. Choose to do: 1.Make your dream farm perfect and let it looks rich and colorful. 2.You can use other sentence patterns to describe the animals’ characteristic. 设计意图:学生根据自己能力,选择不同的作业去完成,让他们得到更多的锻炼机会获取不同程度的成功体验。 教学反思: 本节课是一节语言综合学习课,包含动物单词的单复数学习和关于农场里动物的表达。这节课以争当“农场小志愿者”为主线,培养了学生合作精神和竞争意识。 本课伊始,通过复习旧知轻松谈话导入课题,学生在歌曲视频中整体了解农场里的动物及其声音,这些都为之后的学习实践作了很好的铺垫。 多种形式呈现单词,多种维度讲解单词,多种途径操劳单词,为学生谈论动物的交际对话奠定了坚实的基础。巩固活动形式多样,循序渐进,通过整合课程,学生通过听、说、读、写、演、唱、画的方式学习本课内容,让学生在学中玩,玩中做,做中学,自信地说英语,很好地培养了学生语言运用的综合能力。 设计梦想农场一任务,由于课上时间有限,把它延伸到课下,完善中的农场,针对学生能力的不同,可让学生自由选择书写内容的难易程度,完全体现了“双减”的要求。
